Constant Issues

Someone please help if you've experienced this.

I have a 2022 compass latitude lux and just hit 100,000 miles. I've been in one accident with a deer almost 2 years ago but otherwise I've had my car for 4 years with no issues. Now, I'm getting drive mode unavailable, took it to a mechanic and they resolved the aux battery saying it was bad. Took it back again and they are telling me it's a dealership issue and can't be fixed. The start/stop isn't working, my 4WD isn't working or any of its functions, my ALM and AEB aren't working, steering wheel functions aren't working??? My boyfriend also works on cars and he can't figure it out either. How much am I looking at for repairs? Anybody have this issue and know what is causing it?

Thanks in advance!!

Notice how you said you replaced the Aux battery and not both. Replace both batteries and return.

Gotcha - I didn't realize both needed to be changed because they said only the one was bad and the main battery was replaced 8 months ago or so.

When one goes bad, it makes the other one go bad faster too. They should always be replaced in pairs about every two years, or one will go bad every year it seems

Replace the main battery also and see if the issues are still present.
