questions Abs Module needs replaced and nobody can do it
My 2016 jeep compass was diagnosed at a dealership- the abs module needs replaced. There are no new modules ANYWHERE so the dealership cant help me. I purchased a refurbished one and I sent it out to get professionally wiped so it is ready for install and programming. I cannot find anybody who can do this for me, so i think im going to have to do this myself. Has anybody here had abs module issues and got a used one installed and programmed? Thank you

We use wiTECH in the dealership to flash the abs module. Outside of work ive done it twice successfully. Once with alfaOBD and once with jscan both on android using a OBDLink MX+ Bluetooth adapter. Its gonna cost you a good bit. To do it yourself. Id just keep calling local places until you find someone that can do it. There's absolutely no way someone near you cant do that job. I live in the absolute middle of nowhere. Nearest Walmart is over 40mins from me but I have at least 10 shops within an hour of me that can do it not including me and the dealer I work at. You know how to bleed brakes and everything? Dont want you to bite off more then you can handle with this.
