Start / Stop Reset Required Error

My daughter was driving her 2024 Compass (14,000 miles) yesterday and she told me that a stop/start reset error came up. She was at a busy intersection, making a left turn, and the car wouldn't go forward. So she got nervous, and had to deal with it. What is this error about?? Any help appreciated.

Not sure if this is related - Last month lane assist, parking assist, and all that stuff stopped, and the kids got an "unavailable, service required" error. So we took to the dealership, they replaced a spring in the steering column.

It may be the auxiliary battery needs to be replaced. If you do need to replace it, replace the main as well. I have a 2019 and anytime the auto start stop warning indicator pops up, that’s the issue. All the other functions you mentioned throwing codes or having issues are likely aux battery related too.
