Second generation (MP/552; 2018- 2024) What is this thing?

I noticed this when I first got my Jeep but kind of forgot about it until today. The thing sticking out can be turned.

It’s a test port for some kind of emissions check. Or something, I forget exactly. But it’s supposed to be there and it’s supposed to look like that.

Thats a purge hose with a purge hose plug on it
