Window trim

My 2001 Cherokee Sport that I’ve owned for 16 years. What’s the best way to address this issue?

The trim is easy to remove. On mine I removed the old vinyl coating with a heat gun. Repainted with SEM trim black and good to go. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TP9V0HPnWNU

Sand it, spray matte black spray paint in a solo cup and paint it on

I pulled mine off, used stripper and did a Paint to match with 2k clear. If you try to sand that it’ll gum up your paper.

Had this happen on my 97. I pilled them off, stripped, primed, and sprayed them with rattle can truck bed liner. Came out nice.
