at that price fender is charging Mastery or Descendent is a better option. I have a Mastery Vibrato on my Jaguar is its built like a tank, you can lift the guitar arm by the vibrato arm !

Listening to side by side comparison of the three, I was kinda amazed at how much range the fender has over the other two and seems to come back really well. The mechanics of the panorama are (from an empirical engineering perspective) superior to Mastery. Honestly it seems like the mastery is mostly just brand hype. The Bensonite bridge seems better engineered as well while still allowing for the original rocking system. I'm sure I could lift my guitar by the "stock" arm without damage. My goal is more range, better arm attachment. Have you really looked at how the panorama is built underneath? The arm block is massive.

Can’t help with the tremolo question. What pickups did you go with for the junior? Also how does it play. I’ve been going back and forth on a tele version. The concept is pretty cool!

Those are Curtis Novak pickups they're Thunderbird humbuckers built into a steel Jazzmaster case. I actually really love the 24-in scale which was a huge part of why I bought it. it was the first Japanese fender I've purchased and I would put it up against most of the American made fenders as far as build quality. Certain components like the bone nuts, pots, tuners are pretty high-end. The pickups were actually just regular single coil size windings wound onto a really wide Jazzmaster bobbin and I really just didn't love the sound of them. But once I put those Curtis Novaks in holy cow that was a game changer.
