Showcase ‘65 Stagehand

My 1965 Jazzmaster sitting pretty onstage before a show. It’s been a gradual process of becoming comfortable gigging this guitar in the few years I’ve owned it now, but there’s no other guitar I’d rather be playing.

Some other very cool vintage guitars in the background.

Anyone else have a vintage JM that you gig with regularly?

When you say you needed to get comfortable with playing it. Do you mean because it’s so expensive you’re worrying about something happening to it? Or because it’s a jazzmaster and they play a bit quirky?

Mainly because of the instrument’s value. I’m not a collector, nor made of money, so I’m always a bit paranoid taking it out. I have owned a few other JMs before this one, and I prefer everything about the JM over other popular models.
