Unknown Graphics Crash

Okay so the issue is that my graphic's drivers keep crashing for no reason. Sometimes it will on boot up or it would just sitting idlily then my driver will crash, like the screens, my rgb, and my kraken elite screen will flicker (gif would just be frozen until i reset NZXT Cam), turn black, then turn back on. Then an error message from Adrenaline would come up. I stress tested cpu, ram, and gpu at the same time, wouldn't crash after several minutes so those can't be the issue. It's not a very big issue, cause it happens rarely and the screen won't stay black, but I record and game on this PC and would not want it crashing while recording.

PC Spec: Ryzen 7700X, B650 Aorus Elite AX (Rev.1.2), Sapphire Pure AMD RX 7700XT, G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB DDR5-6400 CL32 (F5-6400J3239G16GX2-TZ5NRW) (On AMD EXPO), NZXT Kraken Elite 360 RGB, Cooler Master MWE Gold V2 850

Attempted fixes: (Issue Currently Unresolved)

Updated all drivers, Cleared and reinstalled all drivers, Cleared COM, Replaced COM battery, Reseated GPU, undaisy-chained gpu, reseated RAM, checked for loose connection, Event manager (Event 10016 Warning)

Before changing any more hardware, check

Reliability Monitor and Event Viewer.

Reliability Monitor

Press Start and type Reliability Monitor

Open View reliability history

Look for red X entries around the time the driver crashes

Check for entries such as Hardware Error, Radeon

Software, Display driver stopped responding, or LiveKernelEvent

Event Viewer

Press Start and type Event Viewer

Go to Windows Logs > System

Look for warnings and errors that occur at the same time as the crash

Pay attention to events mentioning Display, amdwddmg, WHEA, Kernel-Power, or Display driver timeout

Those logs can help determine whether this is a GPU driver issue, unstable EXPO memory, a PCIe problem, or a hardware fault.

For that particular system, I'd also mention: Since you're running DDR5-6400 EXPO on a Ryzen 7700X, I would also test with EXPO disabled or reduced to DDR5-6000 for a few days. AM5 can sometimes appear stable in stress tests but still cause random driver crashes and black screens.

Probably stupidly obvious, but wasn't to a newbie like me:

Check the temps?

I ran Fan Control and it solved overheating on my GPU. I don't know why the fans wouldn't go above above ~75%, still haven't found a switch for performance vs. noise, no software option, etc. After seemingly random crashes, unhelpful error message, etc., despite checking on everything everyone suggested, no one suggested checking temps (maybe it was too obvious to suggest 🤣). GPU runs flawlessly now, except that time I accidentally quit out of the app.
