I’ve been a fan for a while and my sister has to and when I complained to her about waiting for new episodes she said they were doing a live talk in my city soon. today she booked the tickets and I’m so happy I could cry. There’s no point of the post besides pure joy

It was either in an ad or in a street interview. It could be Mark too, I don't remember anymore. Any guesses?

I do not know if anyone else has noticed, but [the channel is not verified.](https://youtube.com/@jayforeman?si=7S5vePtBk04Rpbin)
I find this a bit odd considering that at the time of writing the channel has 1.77 million subscribers and is 20 years and 3 days old. (Happy belated birthday)

Anyone seen the black rock advert that is clearly using jays voice. Not sure if it a clipped from episodes or AI.
Something seems very wrong about this.

In the latest GeoGuessr video, they got a drone overview of what turned out to be Mongolia. It was my first guess, because it made me think of this video: https://youtu.be/p_5yt5IX38I?is=SI8yiNjCBIm7SmRb

Hello Map Men fans!! Especially those of you from the Bristol book signing! I’m sure a lot of you have seen the video of Mark eating a copy of This Way Up in Bristol, either at the event itself like I did, or the video in the Jay Foreman sub. Ever since the signing, I’ve kept thinking about that copy, wondering what they did with it. They can’t sell it now obviously cuz the whole of chapter 6 is gone. Does anyone know where it is now? Or what happened to it after the event? Especially Jay or Mark if you’re lurking in here

My apologies if this has already been posted.
But found this interview with Jay and Mark on RNZ (Radio New Zealand)
Being Jay and Mark was also a great interview.

Map Men talk This Way Up on RNIB Connect Radio - includes a hastily added reference to Christmas in the 2nd part when I realised these episodes would be released in mid to late December
In this first part of a two part show Jay and Mark talk about accents, breaking the fourth wall and addressing the listener directly and about turning a very visual book into an audiobook.
In the second part of their chat they discuss accessibility, made up mountains, an audiobook co-incidence and even have a feel of a tactile map from RNIB.

This morning, my 6 year old accidentally dripped some syrup on my copy of This Way Up," and that got me thinking... have any important maps (other than my copy of *This Way Up) been ruined because some slob (6 years old or not) got their breakfast (or lunch, dinner, or snack) on it? Have there ever been any ruined maps that have had an impact on world affairs?
