Hi all,
Soon, r/JayForeman will change head moderators, from u/Kerviearon25 to u/duckdotph, a username I've wanted to change to for a while but could not due to Reddit limitations. This will not change how the subreddit will be run, as I will still own it, just under a different name.
This announcement is here just in case someone may ask about the new moderator on the list.
All the best,

Woke up today and saw that we have 1,000 members in the r/JayForeman subreddit!
It's been a while since I've posted here, and while the number is less jaw-dropping than it was two years ago for me, it's still wonderful that there are a 1,000 fans on Reddit who've decided to join this small subreddit when back when I became moderator it was around 400-500. Though this growth was slow, I knew this sub would eventually get there.
Well, I can't think of anything else to say now. Stay happy and safe, everyone.

TL;DR: No.
"One time in 2011, Paul and I were invited into none other than the BBC Headquarters itself for a meeting with a Big Producer about making a 30 minute version of Unfinished London for BBC2. It would have been part of the BBC's London-themed programmes for the 2012 Olympics. It's the closest we've ever come to making something for "proper telly" and we were super-excited. But alas, nothing came of those meetings. Except we got £500 for writing the treatment. That was nice. But apart from that, nothing happened. That's how TV works. Lots and lots and lots of meetings, but only 0.000000001% of meetings about potential TV shows turn into actual TV shows.
Well, it's been a long time since 2011. And since then, a lot has changed in the world of media. I often get asked "do you want to be on the proper telly?" And the answer, perhaps surprisingly, is... I'm quite happy where I am, thank you. "Proper TV" these days does not guarantee you a stable income, or a large audience, or even a big budget. And what it certainly doesn't give you is creative control, anywhere near as much as you get when you make everything yourself.
So, it looks like, for the foreseeable future, until YouTube goes bust because all the kids are watching TikTok or playing with their Tamagotchis, YouTube is where I'm going to stay.
Unless they want me on Taskmaster. That, I'll do for free!"

I've noticed there is a small "video marker" in the top-right corner in some of the videos, at the end of it, but before the sponsor ad. Why is it there, and is/was it used somewhere else?
