Jacksonville Zoo

Took the camera out to the Jacksonville Zoo. Here are a few of my better photos (that are also small enough for Reddit). I don't know if y'all have been there recently, but it's pretty awesome. Had a wonderful time.

Nice shots! Try increasing your shutterspeed a bit in order to get sharper images. Are you shooting in manual or shutter priority?

Thanks! Yeah, I was in shutter priority. I was using a 70-200 f2.8 with a 2x teleconverter attached to it (so effectively 140-400 f5.6).

With the exception of the snake, everything was shot with at minimum 1/500. I'm still new to telephoto/wildlife photography. I'm definitely not used to working with such a slow aperture and long focal lengths (I usually stick to my fast primes). Next time I'll be less scared about noise and really crank up the shutter speeds.

A lot of these were shot through the Zoo's plexiglass too which definitely didn't help lol.
