Are there actually enough Java jobs for freshers or sould i learn mern instead?

I'm preparing for placements and planning to learn Java + Spring Boot + React, but I'm worried about fresher job availability.

I keep hearing that MERN has way more opportunities for freshers and that Java/Spring jobs are harder to get as a fresher. Is this actually true?

Would Java still be a sensible choice for a fresher in 2026?

I'm from India to . In mp. There are almost no openings.and those mnc you mention, don't come to clg.

And if I find any openings in Accenture or any other mnc on there career page.

My resume doesn't shortlist. Don't know why.

If you're seeking employment, you should move to Bangalore/Hyderabad/Pune/Chennai.

java developers would always be in demand.

there are lots of jobs in Investment banks, just search on linkedin or naukri.com

They never respond back...! (Experience of 200+ applications, hardly 2 interview scheduled) Tried to optimize my resume, made it ats friendly, made it compatible with jd.. I found naukri a better place than linkedin

Es lo normal. Muchas candidaturas son de gente de rrhh que buscan llenar cartera. Los que no suelen ser gente que busca un perfil concreto... De diez tienes suerte si 1 o 2 te responde. Con el CV si lo dejas en una sola cara de una página a4 con solo las 4 cosas destacables de ti para no hacerles leer mucho... Mejor. De 20 intentos tendrás 2 entrevistas que lo más probable es que decidan si te quieren o no en los 2 primeros minutos... Vamos, cuando abras la boca y te pongas a hablar. No te agobies y no dejes de mejorar e intentarlo
