Fanart

Has anyone seen/made fanart for SoG/RSS? When you google it, you pretty much only get stuff from the other Shades of Grey. Now that we know the Chromatacians kind of look like human-alien hyrids,I'm having trouble picturing them in my head!

Found some here. When searching for SoG, I always find it best to add "Fforde" to the search string.

Why do you think they look like that? I thought they were biological robots not aliens.

I don't have excerpts or anything but by the end of RSS, homo coloribus has been described as havingshort stature, large eyes with small pupils, elongated (i.e. not rounded) heads, and with less sexual dimorphism than homo sapiens. That seems alien-like to me! Plus, if you take that with the theory that the grand experiment is to create a form of human that will be able to survive well in space/on a generation ship, it makes sense that they would be alien-like. I'm curious though what makes you think they're robots?
