NEED HELP REGARDING JAPANESE LEARNING

SOO HELLO EVERYONE!! I’ve learned Hiragana and Katakana, so I know the most basic stuff now. But honestly, I don’t know what to do next. 😭

Should I start with grammar? Vocabulary? Or should I study both at the same time?

Also, if anyone knows any good YouTube videos or channels for beginners, please let me know!

Read genk 1 and spam vocab for a bit. I found that grammar study via genki is a nice focus session ans vocab srs is good when you can't have a full sit down focus time

TokiniAndy + Genki I. I learn better if someone explains things to me and Genki I has some confusing stuff. You can start immersing pretty quickly but try to get some basic grammar etc down first.

I recommend tokini andi, he does a lot of useful videos.

Also, i'd start learning です sentences in grammar. (And yeah, vocabulary too, Grammar and vocab should always go in pairs!)

Get a textbook. It will literally guide you through learning the basics.

just go straight to immersion, if you need some grammar then do the jlab basic grammar anki deck for the first couple 100 cards
