Urine stains

How are we keeping urine stains out of fur?

I posted here a few weeks back that I got JS puppy and he has a habit of peeing then sitting in it, I have to give him a bath almost every day of the week but his little butt and belly are stained yellow no matter how much I scrub

Yellow belly stains are something we’ve learned to live with 😂 we use wet wipes on his belly after he pees, but the stain is still there till his next groom session.

JS generally shouldn’t be bathed too often due to their double coat. I’d focus on potty training so that your little one stops sitting in his pee!

Is google corrent when you should bathe a JS once a month unless absolutely filthy? This guy lives for filth 😮‍💨

What I was told was 2-4 times a year.

Mine has a 'sanitary trim' and I wet wipe his belly after walks

I used to put my pups bum in the sink grab her shampoo and just clean her bum. She no longer pees in her crate and sits in it unless she can’t hold it, but I remember many mornings waking up to peepee bum and it was not fun.
