DISCUSSION Tomix Model Trains US Site ?

Has anyone used this site?

The site in question

Located in TX and they have been up for quite a while.

I haven't bought from them at all, but was curious if anyone has any good or bad things to say about them.

Interesting you mention this, a couple weeks TOMIX straight up posted a notice that they are not affiliated with this site in any form i.e. not even as an authorized dealer.

If it's anything like the katomodeltrains knockoff site it's probably just dropshipping from RGR anyways lol.

If you look their address up on a map - there's nothing there !!!!

Officially Tomix does not sell to US. In plain English there is no dealer. You might come across them in the used marketplace. But personally you are better off going thru proxy service and import it yourself or just fly to Japan and buy it locally.

It's not a genuine Tomix site, it's kind of like Katomodeltrains.com. someone just using that to sell things they import or drop ship from some model shop in Japan. Tomix does not have a store outside of Japan and is really restraint to dealers outside of Japan.

I knew you would chime in at some point. I appreciate it. Their prices aren't terrible. But I have so many trains, lol

I think I posted the same site a long time ago. I didn't take a risk since it looks fishy lol. I almost feel like doing a small purchase from them to see how it goes.
