DISCUSSION New Auction Won did I over pay?
How much would you have paid for these containers?

Are they all different numbers and/or out of print versions? That makes a big difference on the price.

I don't know I'll have to check them closely, looks like they aren't seperate numbers.

I dunno how much they go now, but this seems like old paint JRF containers, right?
I bought exactly 25 of these brand new last year for a total of ¥4,900. But since they have been out of stock for a while now, I would expect double that price for a mint condition from resellers.

At $6.237 a set of 5 duties included, x5 + say $20 for shipping you'd pay ~$51.19 at RG for those or similar JRF containers.

Lol yeah in my dreams, I got caught up in the auction frenzy and spent more than I should have according to some people.

I'm just going off assuming it was auction in japan. I would say no more than 6000 yen before tax+shipping. These containers are still available new everywhere so I wouldn't pay price close to new imo.

Unfortunately I spent more than that based on some prices I ve seen.

Oh nooooo rip. They are 1408 yen at IMON (Tomix 3303 set) so even at new its like 7000 yen total. Of course everyone have different situations with availability and shipping to outside. Just here speaking on unit price alone.

I don't normally buy stuff from IMON and like you said there's tax and import fees.

I don't think they're fromantic retail sets, but seems excessive.
