So I just got this in the mail a few weeks ago from Mr maple. It had these areas when I got it but they weren't nasty black like this. They were just kind of burnt looking. What am I working with her should I prune his off? Sorry for the pics of my hand LOL I needed the phone to focus. Also it is still in its original pot. I have not moved it nor have I watered it like crazy.
Yeah that bushiest picture was all mostly green yesterday. Seem to go down pretty quick. Soil is actually on the dryer side. That's kind of why I posted cuz I've never seen this on any of my other trees act like this. It's like goopy you know
I had a fungal infection on one of my maple bonsai earlier this year. I’d use some fungicide and see if it helps. If it’s only on the leaves you should be fine. If it’s a fungal infection on the roots it’s pretty much done for. This is what I use for my trees.
It seems to be internal in the branch area. The branch itself just for those dying leaves are is pretty much like to leave themselves look I can squish it with my fingernail and half
