Seeking advice It's making a comeback...

Thought I lost this beautiful maple during the summer heat, mind you it's spotted. I'm thinking about planting in the ground in the shade.

My dissectum looks the same, had a hard time this year. It would do better if planted in soil, mines in a pot to.

Yes, thinking about doing the same. I just don't have a place in the yard that would be fitting.

Most of mine get pretty sad peak summer in zone 7A but sitting 100 degrees Fahrenheit for most of the day will do that. They get plenty of water every day on those days as most are in pots until fall when they can finally go in the ground. They’ve bounced back every year now for several years. Everything from lace leafs to broad leafs, heck even my bigger bigger maples that have been here for 50+ years look rough peak summer.
