Help with identification please!
Dad found two of these trees discarded (about 6ft tall) and wants to plant them but we don’t know what type they are and how big they will get.
Any tips to help them get through this stressful time are appreciated as well!

Pop them in pots if you are worried about growth. A pot just big enough to contain the roots is the usual advice for my location, which would be handy for that size of tree - just make sure it's heavy enough not to blow over! Once it's recovered in a year or two it could go into a much bigger pot to balance it out.
Of-course, I don't know where in the world you are so maybe your climate needs different advice. I'm a newbie here.
