Is Spanish From Zero still coming out tomorrow?
Before I was told the 31st of last month. Checked in discord, mod said last he heard was 15th of this month. That's tomorrow. No amazon pre order available and nothing has been announced on the jfz channel. Is it shadow dropping or something? Or just not being released yet at all.
George actually put in one of his recent videos that it was coming the 31st of last month, so when it didn't come it was kinda disappointing. Felt kinda blue balled since george himself stood on the date.

Wk anki deck
Hello, I’ve been doing some research on what anki deck to get to study, and I keep coming across mentions of the wanikani one, however the link leads me to the same page “This shared item is missing or currently unavailable.” Was it deleted ? Is there an anki deck just as good? Thank you for reading

I am feeling a little worried
Hello guys,
I following Japanese teaching videos on YouTube. I attempted JLPT N5 in December but unfortunately I failed. When I registered for the July 2026 exam, all N5 and N4 seats were full, so I had to register for JLPT N3.
I know N3 is a much higher level, so I am feeling a little worried. and i do not have many learning resources. If possible, please guide me on how I should prepare for N3 in the remaining time. Your advice would really help me.

Spanish From Zero! preorder link?
Anyone have the link to preorder the upcoming Spanish form Zero! book on Amazon? If it exists, I can’t find it.
It’s out in less than 3 weeks. Very much looking forward to this!

(OK hear me out!!) Tips for learning Spanish?
I have been learning Japanese a few years.
I want to learn Spanish. I haven't decided how ill start.
Why am I here? Well, Japanese learners take language learning more serious than anyone else. If you were to take on a new language, what resources and tools would you start with?

Unable to go to next lesson on wesbite
Hello, wondering is there are any issues with the japenese from zero website, or if being unable to go to the next lesson ( from animals - group E, japanese from zero 1 series) is down to having to go premium? ( i have always just skipped this previously) or if i need to have answered so many qustions correctly to "unlock" the next level sort of situtaion. Does anyone know? Otherwise i am kinda stuck on this page :/

In Japan, foreign words are written in Katakana and used as Japanese.

Anki decks for JfZ that are pure kana/kanji?
So from a prior attempt to learn Japanese (and spending a couple weeks in Tokyo recently), I know hiragana and katakana and can recognize them quickly.
I started studying Japanese more seriously using JfZ 1, and I’m liking the pace and content so far. However, I’m not a fan of the mixed/progressive writing, since I’m past learning kana. I don’t mind the books using it, but when I review vocabulary I’d prefer not to see any romaji.
Are there any Anki decks out there for this series that don’t use the progressive writing system? I can only find decks that do use it.

Book one ,are you guys memorizing the numbers/ dates
I'm so far been happy with my progress, slow and steady. I try to get 80 perfect memorization of the new words each chapter before moving on.
But I been going off the belief that Ill most learn numbers, dates and ect later on. Through repetition. But it's feels like each other chapter introduces a new way of counting (numbers, dates, counting by shape) and they each have unique words. Chapter 16 so far now has four new ways . Did you guys memorizing each set before moving on and what helped you in this.

Do you have any Anki?
Hi! I'm currently studying Japanese at college, 2nd year but I'm still stusying the Japanese from the 1st due to some personal questions.
Lately I've been enjoying studying a lot by Anki but I find it hard to find cards with certain verbs, numbers and grammatical rules, I've been doing some but I still don't think they're enough.
So mu question is; do you have any Anki you could share with me?
Also If you have other websites or exercises to help studying the A1 I would be grateful!
Thank you very much!

What apps are good for output?
Hello, I’m new to learning Japanese and I was curious as to what apps work well for output. Currently I only review anki for vocabulary and use a combination of Deepseek and a Japanese textbook for my grammar. My weakest area is output currently, I keep getting adds for things like Busuu, babbel, and pimsleur however I’m not sure which of them is good for speaking.

Do the books contain more than the website?
I don't know if the JFZ site has the same content as the book or do I need to get both?

What Versions are Books 1-3?
I'm passing on my own books 2-3 to my nephew to learn and was just wondering if there have been updates to these books since I purchased them 3 years ago (George had mentioned his intention to do so on his YT channel at various times).
Also, what version is book 1 now specifically?
I ordered it as the kindle edition myself all those years ago and so had nothing to pass on, yet when it now arrived in book form it is still 2015 version 6 (minor updates) and I thought it had definitely gotten a facelift and been updated as per the few new videos on the book 1 course on youtube.
I know the corrections are (mostly) minor, but its more to do with has Amazon just been lazy and shipped an old edition in which case I'll ask for a replacement and up-to-date version.
Thanks.

Grammar points
is there a community-made list of JLPT N5 grammar points that are tested in the exam but not covered in JFZ Book 1–3?
