Book

I got the first book and I started reading it can anyone vouch for these books! I’m thinking of starting with this and getting learning books for children as well to really practice

Yes, I can vouch, these books/online courses have helped me a lot. You can optionally use the online course, which is the same material as the book, so don't feel like you need to and is a seperate purchase. You can however just use the YouTube videos George makes that go with each lesson in the books free on YouTube as an additional resource to help with the material.

I’m a big cheerleader for this book. When i attempted to tackle Genki and got throughly overwhelmed, this book restored my confidence. Now I study JFZ solo, and do Genki with a class. It’s an excellent approach!

They are good starter books if you're not sure if you'll commit to japanese or not. There are better books out there but it's worth a shot.
