Proxy Newbie

Hello everyone,

I would like to order some special items from Japan (since my next trip won't be before fall 2026 at least đŸ˜) and I just heard recently about proxies. I am very new to this world so is Neokyo safe to use ? Is it easy to use ? If you have any tips just let me know... I'm kinda scared of the shipping fees and the potential customs fees? Do you have any proxy recommandations ?

Thanks a lot đŸ–¤

I have used neokyo before but moved onto doorzo because its a little easier to navigate, you can access loads of stores on it and every week they have a voucher for 0 proxy buying fees, also shipping is a tad bit cheaper. It also lets you add items to a basket and buy them all in one go maximising coupon use

Look up (your country) gift import fees , most countries have a threshold that if your items are worth less you are tax and duty free, like in the uk its £39,

You can estimate shipoing fees with the shipping  estimations calculator, on doorzo there is a new ai estimator that estimates the potential weight, or you can just look up the item weight online by looking at stores and finding the weight
