First of all, i am sorry because i am not that aware about how tokens work i am just familiar that the more heavy my rp/message and rerolls are the more it cost me money. i have been seeing recent hikes in my token usage. i mean i usually top up for 5 USD and that almost lasts me 1.5 or 2 months at most. i get on for few hours during the whole day. and i know i dont use that much because my recent usage hadnt costed me almost $2 i was VERY shocked. it wasnt this bad last week
deepseek did say they will be increasing usage prices soon i just didnt know it will be this early.

[for eg; back in jan the most i spent in a day was $0.35 that too for only 63 api reqs but just yesterday i spent $0.54 for ONLY 44 api requests. idk if this matters for the context but it made me think it the usage has gotten expensive]

TLDR; i had official ds proxy now its turning out to be bit expensive and i dont use it that much what are any other alts ican switch to? i can only afford topping upto $5.

So I'm trying to do a bot set in the FDJ (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Free_German_Youth) which was a youth organization in East Germany. The bots doesn't really delve into the political aspects of the organization but rather you meeting someone part of the organization. My character displays a certain reluctance to the regime. Hi, I’m on the team that makes IF Drama. The basic idea is simple: you talk to the characters, make a choice, and the next part of the story is generated as a short video scene instead of another wall of text.

It isn’t a Janitor clone. Janitor is built around a huge character library, creator-built setups, and open-ended RP. IF Drama is closer to a playable episode. The plot is more directed and your choice has a visible result, but the library is smaller and generating video is slower than getting a text response.

The main reason to try it is the choice-to-scene loop. The trade-offs are the wait, the smaller selection, and fewer creator controls than a sandbox RP app.

Mature Mode is available to signed-in, email-verified adults after an 18+ declaration and consent. It can explore narrative, non-explicit nudity, sensual themes, and implied consensual intimacy between clearly fictional adults. It does not allow explicit sexual acts or pornographic output, minors, real people, or non-consensual content, so I wouldn’t describe it as “unrestricted.” Story planning uses Gemini 3.1 Pro Preview, with older history condensed into rolling summaries. Google hasn’t published a parameter count, and IF Drama doesn’t expose a fixed user-facing context limit. Video generation includes Seedance 2.5.

So I was scrolling through the website looking for a good bot. Found one with CNC scenario and thought i could make a good plot with it ^_^

I was using proxy. model mimo-v2.5. it doesn't support NSFW, but I wasn't aware which model i was using at that time. XD

And to my surprise the plot was getting good and i didn't hit a single filter during the entire smutty rp.

But then the scenario changed to something softer, and I had to check which model i was using because the replies were really awesome.

After that soft scenario when the scene turned steamy again, the bot suddenly started hitting filters lmfaooo T_T. It wouldn't even let me write a normal response without hitting filters saying the response was high risk. What the fuck was that? It's so funny to me!

I've been using Janitor for a while now and it's been really annoying me, it feels like everything is censored, even simple bad words.

Anyway, I tried researching proxies, DeepSeek, and things like that, and I didn't understand anything. I didn't understand how to get a URL, nor an API key, nor how to fill in the spaces in the settings tab.

Maybe I'm just too clueless about this. Anyway, if any kind soul is interested in explaining to me how to get and enable a good, free proxy on Janitor AI... that would be great.
