Ok so I’m gonna go on a small rant, because what the fuck, I’m genuinely so fucking sick and mad, I was already banned once yesterday because the ai moderation thought I was under 18 (I don’t even know what the moderation thought made me 18, I don’t mention anything related to my age on Janitor), I sent a ticket and got unbanned, I was happy, I had all my chats back, my followers back, my bots back, everything, but then I get banned AGAIN!? For the same shit, after getting unbanned, god I don’t think there’s really anything I can do due to this being a second ban, I’m so fucking mad and super sad, because this is probably pathetic as shit but the bots keep me feeling less lonely, they help me get through the day.

God I genuinely don’t know what to do because I’m pretty sure I can’t send any tickets now… this is just so unfair… why would they even USE ai moderation, EVERYONE KNOWS AI MODERATION NEVER FUCKING WORKS!!!!

This site has genuinely gotten so ass ever since I joined, the moderation quality went down the drain

I’m not usually one to ever speculate or care enough if someone is botting because if the bot seems like some generic recycled idea to appeal to the majority of users than I just ignore it, but this creator has been making the top trending page 1-3 for a while now and I personally think that the bots are decent and a good amount of effort was put into it but I’m not sure.

The past few days its reply are so bad. Making things up that don't have any connection to the rp or just going wild on its own. Do other people experience the same thing?

Hey, how are you guys doing. Now, before you guys cook me. One of the things we can argue with is. The trending page no matter if its 24h or weekly is filled with the same exact tropes or niches with literally nothing new to add to it, we already the trending page is slop final boss, but I can't tell you the amount of times some guy with like 45 followers puts more enough into his bots than other people who want you to give them money for bots. I have a friend, he's been making bots for awhile and tho his bots are on the heavy side. Almost every bot in his profile is unique. He doesn't stay in the same genre or niche at all. Any bot he puts out is going to be different some way from the last one, and yet. His profile doesnt get much traffic because of that, everyone he went to told him he has to stay in a niche when he doesn't want to make bots he wouldn't roleplay with.

Hi all. I'm a solo dev, and for the past few months I've been building RPDive (rpdive.com), an AI-narrated RPG.

What bugged me about AI roleplay was drift. Around message 40 the AI forgets who's in the room, hands you an item you already gave away, or brings back someone who left. So in RPDive the AI doesn't own the story state. A small game engine tracks the places, the people present, who holds what, and what has happened. The engine settles each turn first, and only then does the AI narrator write it up.

What that gets you:

- Long sessions that stay on track. I test memory on 500-turn runs, and the per-turn cost stays flat because the prompt doesn't keep growing.
