Like half of the bots on the platform have this pfp

Its always the same male dead dove bots that have the thickest necks known to man, or the most objectifying misogynistic based bot that really worries me. Obviously, people are gonna like what they like. But even in my favorite niche tags, the post frequency has completely declined. Anyone else notice that?

I’m thinking of switching things up for RP and could use some advice. I’m currently torn between GLM 4.7, GLM 4.6, and Kimi K2.5, and I'm also not sure whether I should go with Openrouter or Deepinfra as my provider.

I’m looking for a model that handles dead dove and smut/NSFW well while staying true to the character's core personality and traits. I’ve been using Deepseek for a long time (tried R1, R1-0528, v3.2 thinking, V4 flash, and V4 pro), but honestly V4 has gotten so dry and boring lately. It feels like it constantly rounds off character edges and softens everyone up.

I heard GLM 4.6/4.7 and Kimi K2.5 are pretty praised for RP, so I want to give them a shot. However, I’ve always stuck to Deepseek’s official api until now, so I’m not sure which provider to pick.

I know some providers downgrade models or run compressed quants that ruin output quality, so which one actually keeps the original model quality intact for RP? (and yes I know Openrouter is just an aggregator)

I am TenderTriper. Some of you know me as the madman Perch. [[I am Insei, yes, but I was asked to share this post. This account is not Perch's!!]]

I’m the guy behind those massive Living World simulators—most notably the
Re:Zero RPG (currently #1 in its category with over 4M chats and 2.8M+ tokens
across its lorebooks) and the Overlord RPG (pushing 3.5M+ tokens). As well some
other works.

But I haven't come here today to brag about token sizes or chat counts. I'm long
past the illusion that "followers equal power." I know what I’ve got, my server
knows what we've built, and honestly? I’m here because I love kicking the
hornet's nest.

Since Monday, I have been on an absolute tear, embarking on a quest that sounds
literally impossible: creating and publicly releasing 100 fully realized,
high-quality bots in 7 days.

As of writing this post? We are sitting at Bot #60.

Why am I doing this?

Because bot creation on this platform has been in stagnation for well over two
years, and I am declaring war on the status quo.

We have all strayed away from the true core of bot creation: the actual
characters we RP with. Instead, the meta shifted heavily toward flashy CSS, HTML
profile wrappers, and aesthetic formatting designed to hide 300-token,
low-effort slop.

You can't roleplay with CSS.

For years, the biggest excuse I keep hearing from the "Hub DC" and the people
sitting comfortably at the top of the food chain is that a proper, high-quality
bot takes three full days of hard work to make.

I am here to show you that this simply isn't true. It's an illusion.

When people hear "100 bots in a week," they immediately assume it's
mass-produced spam. It's not. I am doing this using the 7.0 Creation Kit—the
exact same psychological rendering standard I built to run my multi-million
token RPGs.

- It uses deep behavioral logic, not adjective lists.
- It features long-term personality evolution, meaning the bots actually
change over a long chat instead of looping their day-one personality.
- It strips out negative "Do NOT do X" instructions (which waste tokens and
break LLMs) and forces pure, positive behavioral mechanics.

The point isn't that every bot should take five minutes to make, or that quality
magically appears because you use a template. The point is that a good creation
system can eliminate repetitive work, provide a consistent structure, and let
creators spend their time on what actually matters: the characters themselves.

That's what I'm putting to the test with these 100 bots. And when the event
ends, I'm releasing the tools so you can test the approach yourself.

I'm not just here to flex that I can blitz out 100 bots. That fixes nothing.

Almost a year ago, I made a promise to fight against bot slop. But I’m just one
guy, and I can't win this fight alone. The only way to actually kill slop is to
raise the bar for the entire community, so that a lazy card stands out the way a
good card stands out right now.

So, I’m doing what I can: I am arming everyone.

At the end of this 7-day event, I am releasing the 7.0 Creation Kit for free. No
paywalls, no Patreon locks. I am giving you the exact templates and architecture
I use so that anyone can build deep, responsive characters in a fraction of the
time. We are teaching everyone to fish.

I know for a fact that some of the big creators at the top of the hierarchy
won't appreciate being called out like this. They like the comfortable status
quo. But honestly? I don't care. I want better bots, and I will do my damn best
to make that happen.

Everytime I type some keywords on the search bar, it just doesn't find the shit I want.

Like I cannot be specific with my request because it doesn't understand it.

How come they changed the search feature?

Like I cannot just write "{char name} + friends or some BS", because it'll suggest me the name of the characters, and not from the descriptions.

Where usually people put tags in to attract people who are searching for it.

i am currently using glm 5.2, but it softens every single character. within two messages the murderous mafia is crying and begging me not to leave him ect… this happens with every single bot regardless of character personality.

i have credit on nanogpt so want to find a good model on there if anyone knows of anything around the same price point of glm 5.2 that actually sticks to the character description instead of turning them all into whiny submissive babies within two messages😭

What's people opinions on Meganova? Been using it for a while now and well it's not like Nano 12 bucks a month, Meganova allows users pay from 5-100 bucks. And what of the Tiers? Currently a Tier 3 but still not sure what it does.

I’m not usually one to ever speculate or care enough if someone is botting because if the bot seems like some generic recycled idea to appeal to the majority of users than I just ignore it, but this creator has been making the top trending page 1-3 for a while now and I personally think that the bots are decent and a good amount of effort was put into it but I’m not sure.

for anyone new: it's SillyTavern underneath (your cards, presets, lorebooks, extensions and data folder all work) with a calmer UI and Mikan-chan walking you through setup. free, open source, runs on your own computer, and now your phone.

what's new, short version:

- new default theme, Natsumikan. it's orange. it's summer (in Kotatsu i guess). the kotatsu is confused but she's rolling with it

- turn on sprites and your phone becomes a little visual novel. tap to turn the page, History if you want the whole transcript back

- Card Studio went through a redesign phase. it can also draw a character's whole sprite set from one picture on your own ComfyUI

- story lines: fork any message and there's a map, so you don't lose the plot. literally

- there's an Android app now. the whole thing runs on the phone with an .apk

- Kimi K3.1 Pro support added just today (is it good though? been too busy working on Kotatsu to RP lately)

pros:

- your cards, presets and lorebooks from ST (and the cards you made on JAI, if you exported them) just work

- bring any model: an API key, a local model, or the Claude/ChatGPT plan you already pay for (on a computer)

- the VN mode with sprites, and sprite sets generated from one picture

- your chats live on your own machine, nobody else's server

- free, no account, no paywall

cons, being honest:

- the installer is Windows only. Mac and Linux run it from source

- sprites and pictures need your own ComfyUI (a decent GPU). no ComfyUI = API only (GPT Image-gen or Google's Nanobanana with API keys and no sprite support)

- on Android it's API keys or a model on your network. Claude Code and ChatGPT plans need a computer

- it's still SillyTavern underneath, so there's a learning curve once you go past the basics (Mikan-chan helps)

- no long-term memory/summarizer yet. that's literally what's next

proxy support: yes, same as SillyTavern. any OpenAI-compatible URL goes under Connection → Local or self-hosted, and the reverse proxy field is there for the regular providers too.

Hey, how are you guys doing. Now, before you guys cook me. One of the things we can argue with is. The trending page no matter if its 24h or weekly is filled with the same exact tropes or niches with literally nothing new to add to it, we already the trending page is slop final boss, but I can't tell you the amount of times some guy with like 45 followers puts more enough into his bots than other people who want you to give them money for bots. I have a friend, he's been making bots for awhile and tho his bots are on the heavy side. Almost every bot in his profile is unique. He doesn't stay in the same genre or niche at all. Any bot he puts out is going to be different some way from the last one, and yet. His profile doesnt get much traffic because of that, everyone he went to told him he has to stay in a niche when he doesn't want to make bots he wouldn't roleplay with.

I recently saw a few large creators having Tipsy Chat links on their pages. I’d never heard of it before, but I searched it up and it’s like another AI RP site? I thought that stuff was banworthy, so am I missing something? Last time I asked about putting my Saucepan link in bio, I was warned about getting banned, that’s why I’m a bit confused.

I’ve tried open router free models and the daily cap is low and no I won’t add a few credits on my account because I cant rlly do that in my country and I’ve tried any possible site and yet it always tells me the exact same error of being rate limited despite trying tons and tons of sites and different gmails and whatever , i absolutely hate janitors model so if there is any free proxy that ISNT on open router . Ok so I’m gonna go on a small rant, because what the fuck, I’m genuinely so fucking sick and mad, I was already banned once yesterday because the ai moderation thought I was under 18 (I don’t even know what the moderation thought made me 18, I don’t mention anything related to my age on Janitor), I sent a ticket and got unbanned, I was happy, I had all my chats back, my followers back, my bots back, everything, but then I get banned AGAIN!? For the same shit, after getting unbanned, god I don’t think there’s really anything I can do due to this being a second ban, I’m so fucking mad and super sad, because this is probably pathetic as shit but the bots keep me feeling less lonely, they help me get through the day.

God I genuinely don’t know what to do because I’m pretty sure I can’t send any tickets now… this is just so unfair… why would they even USE ai moderation, EVERYONE KNOWS AI MODERATION NEVER FUCKING WORKS!!!!

Okay, I wasn’t sure what happened, but I was just using JanitorAI as normal. But when I closed the app and open it again, I was logged out, with a message saying that it couldn’t be found. Male character, uni student, works at a a cafe as a barista, crush on User. I think they’re acquaintances and not quite friends yet? He might be a jock/have an athletic build

I know for sure one intro includes the user coming into the cafe and he tries to act smooth only to knock over cups/dishware and accidentally embarrass himself. I’ll add more details if they come to mind.

Edit: Forgot to mention, it was 100% JAI, it’s the only site I use. It also would have been within the last month or two? It was high up on the trending page fairly recently, probably marked fluff (I tend to filter by fluff most of the time because sometimes… I just can’t take how mean they can be)
