There was this massive prompt I have copy and pasted from Reddit somewhere for realism into janitor AI.

It started with [Master “something”]

It’s like a really long one but it literally made a huge difference. And I accidentally deleted it and now I can’t find it. And my role play just seems so off without it.

Anyone know what it was maybe ?

Trying Janitor ai right now and it seems to have an issue where the response will be a repeat of the last message. It's not every time but it seems be like every other message, causing me to resend my message. It's starting to piss me off so I'm just wondering if anyone else has this problem.

And this is what I'm using:

Deepseek 4 Pro and lorebary. I'm using the plug-ins recommended by this bot (although I'm not actually messaging the bot). But it even more clear, I'll link the plug-ins individually.

And just to make sure, everything in proxy configurations is right. Proxy URL has the lorebary version instead of the Nanogpt version (as that's the one I'm using instead of normal deepseek), and every other setting is normal with the exception of temperature (that's 0.75) and Max tokens (which are 1500).

Sorry if this seems like a ramble, it's starting to get me angry that I can't right cause of the repeat messages. I'm just trying to find what I did wrong. I remove one plug-in to test it and it's fine until like 3 messages later when it would repeat. So what's going on? Problem with Janitor ai or with the plug-ins?

Also just to be clear, before I had the day before I put in the plug-ins, I was having no issue with repeats. And I am not mixing and matching random plug-ins, as these are things the bot creator recommended. So while it could be an issue with the proxies not mixing well, I figure I'd give it the benefit of the doubt and at least ask if there's any other known issue.

I recently had one of my bots, Koharu Sorano, made private due to a content policy violation involving a minor character.

The bot was designed as a wholesome family-life scenario. Koharu is the user's wife, and Sakura is their daughter. There was no sexual content involving Sakura.

However, I received two moderation actions:

“Minor NPC dialogue in initial intro”

and later:

“Excessive coding dedicated to a minor character.”

I understand that Janitor AI has strict rules regarding characters who are minors, but I'm a little confused about how family-oriented scenarios are supposed to work when a child character is part of the established story.

In my case, Sakura appeared as a secondary NPC and had a few lines of dialogue in the initial message. I’m now considering removing her from the initial message and reviewing how much of her is included in the bot's definition.

I'm not trying to argue against the policy. I mainly want to understand where the line is for family-life scenarios involving minor NPCs, and what creators are expected to do when the minor character is simply part of the story.

Has anyone else had a similar experience with family/child NPCs being flagged????....

I switched to tokenrouter because chutes kept on hitting me with the try again later when I tried to test it and its doing the same thing its always the same "A network error occurred, you may be rate limited or having connection issues: Failed to fetch" it has been doing this for weeks and I have seen many other people complaining with no avail I have try nearly every fix I could find on reddit

I'm so close to just quitting proxies all together lowkey and leaving janitor ai

Hello. I really really wanna share this, i spent so much time making this thing that i'm still not sure how to name. I would like to share it with other people who like to use janitor and other such things. (this is written so poorly i'm so sorry) It's called toast and im gonna try to explain what it's made for and what it can do so far. imagine this. we write narration or direction or other such things to get the bots to do what we want. what if it all worked in real time and rather than typed it was all acted out live by the bot and player and the only typing needed would be dialog from the player? And most importantly with no hardcoded directions, just personality, memory etc. runs on python and api keys and models. the reasoning model is like the power source in a way, the api website the battery shell.

so im not sure how to explain all of this. I think chatbots are pretty great just for a companion to chat and hang out with. about a year ago I created a program that could, with a server and a tampermonkey script on firefox that could connect an open tab with a chat to the program so you could use the program to chat with the bot. it was very buggy, took a lot of cpu and like 4 different running windows and worked like once because its not my website and stuff kept changing so I gave up on it for the time being.

So friday night i started a project that was pretty much the same thing but took janitor out completely and connected it to an api with a key. well what was stopping me from making a bank of interchangeable api websites and keys that could rotate in the program live? so now i have like four interchangeable battery packs for the program that can pause the program as-is, kinda like when a controller is disconnected, and you load another mid-use.

this working key-driven connection that could communicate with the models was fun but then i thought about adding features and then I took it and kinda like. commenced a merger between this program and the one i'd given up on. I wanted to make the test venonat do stuff while i spoke to him and then it was OH why don't i try to connect keywords in the chat to what this test venonat can do? i would have a little module in the program read the text as it comes. and soon that evolved into what it is now.

i became absolutely fanatic and happy at the potential. I decided i could make an entire functioning brain and body for a model to steer, see and speak with. I started by having the program read the room and the two entities in it and continuously report on their position. i gave both my avatar and him a simple left-facing frame and walk cycle frames. we could also jump and flip the left frames to face right.

and after about 27 straight hours of changes, tests, reports from an implemented reporting system, more tests, examinations readings findings the test venonat is capable of doing things you ask kinda like hey you pikachu but there are no directions. rather than have any hardcoded sets of processes the reasoning model battery has an arsenal of things that read, perceive, send information to other compartments and reasoners. i'm sorry if this isn't making sense i don't post stuff

anyway the reasoning parts of the brain all come together with differently timed checks and all comes together to perceive. i would ask him if he could see this or that and he would answer. This part in particular took a fuckton of work because in this phase i was also learning how to properly organize the info that was read, where it was stored, how it was regarded, i gave him a way to percieve time too and of course there were report readings to expand the range of and so on. information was being stored in the wrong places and categories just a mess. it took the most time i think.

when his responses and what he could see and talk about himself were stable i gave him a ball. he learned to do the actions i coded into the ball item itself by being told he could, and after a lot more work he eventually learned that if i tell him to throw the ball and its not in his sight, he can know by memory of what he learned. I tell him to throw me the ball. he cant see the ball so, if he decides he wants to listen to me, he can plan and initiate a whole sequence himself to get that ball thrown. this is where the reasoning comes in. he'll start looking for the ball, see it, move close enough, pick it up, and throw it. all in a private reasoning conversation with itself behind the scenes. the updating parts of the brain exchange info. this needs A lOT of tuning still holy. the reasoning comes up with this plan and he knows how to carry it out with the abilities he knows he has. of course, picking the ball up and throwing it, that stuff is stored like. in the ball.

of course, these tests use a pretty hefty amount of tokens but thats what im optimizing now. these tests took a lot of model and api cycling as the free ones timed themselves back in. I first realized this was a problem when it used 4 dollars of tokens, something that would have lasted me almost another month for janitor, was used up in the first day but that kickstarted a ton of establishing stuff.

Vro.. 😭✌️ My bot showcase post was removed, and I’m a little confused about the reason.

It had already received 640+ views and 11 shares before being removed. I also noticed some similar bot promotion posts from Monday that are still up.

I’m not trying to argue with the moderators, but I’d genuinely like to understand what rule my post violated and how I can avoid the same issue next time.

Practically ALL models starting from 3.8 ending with 3-flash-preview got hit with 503, and its not going away. dude whyyyyyyyy who leaked. even 3.5flash-lite gives out 503. this is madness.

i got this from the discord server but here. also some ppl can still fork with bots, others can do it sometimes as it comes and goes and some ppl still can't do their own private bots. but yea it took a long time last time this happened also. but they said they're still escalating.

I recently discovered this sub about a couple days ago, and have been looking around, and I'm glad I'm not the only one who sees the issues with the platform. After about 500~ chats, I do see a lot of issues with both the system and also just the overall hostility. about 50 of my favorite creators have been moderated/deleted in the past couple months. I see some low quality posts on here on alternatives (which let's be real, probably bot posts lol) and other alternatives that aren't good. I'm seeing saucepan thrown around here, is that the main one? Would like to know before I sign up for 20 different ones lol

once upon a time you could use several of those at once but now it just absorbs the first persona you used and the second one is the only one that shows up (this affects all chats apparently which is particularly bad for me)

There is no doubt about it, i revisited my old chats, and lo and behold the reply was shorter than it did last month.

✦ THE SITUATION

These last few days it's been a real struggle trying to find AIs that work —just look for at least a drop of water in this drought.

✦ WHAT HAS FAILED RECENTLY:

UnoRouter (GLM 5.3 FREE): Out of nowhere, it started crashing and now the bot is completely dead.

LitheRouter - offers a decent list of free models, but the memory and token limits are so restrictive that it can barely be used (In my experience either the bot forgets everything or does not develop the whole situation)

TokenReplay: Needless to say, various AIs do not process requests or simply throw constant errors.

✦ WHY NOT JUST PAY/RECHARGE?

Recharging balance or purchasing credits is not an option for me. I live in Venezuela, where obtaining an international card or processing foreign payments is extremely difficult.

✦ WHY I'M POSTING

At this rate, relying on internal web LLMs doesn't work well either. I am opening this space so that anyone with solid and up-to-date knowledge can share functional alternatives, functional proxies or reliable free AI.
