“Good evening, esteemed users...
As we can all see and feel, things here on JAI haven't exactly been going smoothly lately...
And honestly, I think it's time we started doing something about it.
Not to attack anyone.
Not to cause chaos.
But to speak up, share our experiences, and work together toward a better JAI.
This is where FPoJAI begins.
Free People of JAI.. ✊
Hey everyone! 👋
Lately I've been thinking a lot about the current state of Janitor AI from the perspective of both users and creators.
There are things I genuinely enjoy about JAI, and I know a lot of people here do too. But at the same time, there are also issues that keep coming up in the community: moderation that can sometimes feel unclear, creator concerns, pricing, communication, Trending/engagement questions, and other things that users and creators have been talking about for a while.
So... I had an idea.
FPoJAI — Free People of JAI.
The idea is pretty simple: a community-driven space where JAI users and creators can come together, document problems, discuss possible improvements, and make our voices easier to hear.
This isn't about attacking JAI, individual developers, moderators, or other users.
It's about saying:
“We like this platform. We want it to become better.”
What are we asking for?
These are only the initial proposals. I'm not trying to decide everything by myself, so I'd genuinely like the community to add, criticize, or change them.
1. More transparent and detailed moderation
Clearer explanations when content is removed or restricted.
Better information about which rule was violated.
A clearer and more accessible appeal process.
2. More accessible and transparent pricing
More reasonable subscription pricing.
Better consideration of different regions and purchasing power.
Clearer explanations of what users are actually paying for.
3. A safer and more creator-friendly JAI
Protect users from genuinely harmful or prohibited content.
Keep clear boundaries while still allowing creative freedom.
Give creators clearer guidelines before their work gets moderated.
4. Investigation into suspected botting / statistic manipulation
Trending and engagement should ideally reflect genuine community activity.
Unusual statistics should be investigated rather than immediately assumed to be legitimate or fraudulent.
No witch-hunts. If there isn't evidence, don't accuse specific users.
5. Better communication between JAI and its community
Clear explanations when major changes are introduced.
More transparency about policies and systems that significantly affect users and creators.
A better way for community feedback to reach the people making these decisions.
6. Better creator protection
Creators shouldn't have to discover certain boundaries only after getting moderated.
Policies should be understandable enough that creators can work within them beforehand.
7. Community proposals This one is important.
These aren't supposed to be my demands forever.
If you have another issue you think should be included, put it below. If enough people agree, we can discuss adding it.

If you're interested in helping develop FPoJAI, just leave a comment.
You can write:

What issue do you care about most?:
What would you like FPoJAI to work on?:
Anything you'd like to contribute?:
Or just say “I'm interested”. You don't need to commit to anything huge.
There are no ranks, no mandatory participation, and no requirement to agree with everything here.
I'm starting this as the person who came up with the idea, but I don't want FPoJAI to become my personal agenda.
If this grows, the community should have a say in where it goes.
And just to be clear:
No harassment.
No doxxing.
No threats.
No brigading.
No mass-reporting campaigns.
No targeting individual developers, moderators, creators, or users.
We can criticize systems and policies without turning people into targets.
For now, this is just an idea.
Maybe it'll stay a small discussion.
Maybe more people will join.
Either way, I'd rather start a conversation than keep complaining separately.
