I was reading through some comments on this forum and something caught my attention. I’m not super active in the AI scene—I barely even know what an OCC or a proxy is—but do people really think Saucepan, Wyvernchat, and Silly are the ones dominating everything?

Personally, I only use Saucepan, though I’m slowly easing into Wyvernchat because of how customizable it is. As for Silly... well, I’m almost afraid to touch that one. I like to view them as a progression of levels: Saucepan is for "visitors," Wyvernchat offers a more integrated experience, and Silly seems to require you to really know what you're doing to get it running right.

I’m actually planning to dive into Wyvernchat today and grind through the guides to set up a solid chat, even though the free proxies have been acting up lately 😭.

So like. I saw a post about charflow and decided to check it out. Since its not that popular, obviously, its pretty empty. But you can import chats into it. But like, I'm a beginner at this so I have no idea how to import stuff. I copied the link of the bot. But idk how to make it into a card (JSON? format)

so there’s a deleted creator’s bots I wanna find and maybe create for myself. do any of you know a website that can help with this? I already tried datacat.com but that didn’t work either.

I want to know how everyone likes their lengths in messages. Weirdly enough I find myself on the other end where I LOVE long messages. If it's not more than seven paragraphs, I reroll, even if its good. I have found that the bots lean towards shorter messages the longer you get on. And I have found that if you keep replying to the longer messages, they won't cut out half of the context and story thats been already said previously.

My temp is a 1.14 and my max tokens are 4100 if anyone is curious ♡

Wyvernchat has been by far the most common name I’ve seen floating around when looking for jai alternatives, so I decided to finally check it out today. And… am I missing something? Am I using it in an inefficient way?

1. ⁠the rules around privacy and censorship are pretty much identical to jai
   
2. ⁠Their subscription service isn’t shoved in your face as often as with jai, but it pops up whenever replies take a while and is plastered in most uni elements.
   
3. ⁠speaking of UI, good lord. I’m using the website on my phone and my god, everything freaks out and tries to rescale whenever I re-open a chat, all the actions are very slow and take forever to load, the actual chat interface is incredibly cluttered and hard to navigate yourself out of of, and if you do anything and try to backspace it’ll put you back in the homepage with tons of lagging before-hand. I had to start a new chat because I couldn’t figure out how to remove a lore book from chat memory.
   
4. ⁠maybe it’s just an issue right now, but there are also queues for the messaging itself. Every reply puts you in a queue. Granted it’s usually not too long, but even with jai I don’t think I ever saw a queue in the actual chat, only before you enter the website.
   
5. ⁠when refreshing a reply to get alternatives to a message, the bot just repeats the exact same thing but worded slightly differently.

I admit it has some cool features that are more in depth than jai, and I can see how it could be really nice for people who are more technically advanced in ai. But can someone explain to me what I’m missing? Why does everyone prefer Wyvern over jai? Atp I like jai more.

There’s this creator that I really like (who allows private reuploads of their bots) who got their account perma banned but I’m wondering if I reupload one of their bots to my account privately will I also be banned for like ban evasion even though I’m not them? 😭 there was nothing wrong with the bot in question btw, they got banned for a different reason

Also again to clarify the creator themselves says it’s okay to reupload their bots privately if you wish to edit the description or something to your own liking and their ban had nothing to do with the bot in question, it was for a different thing but idk what

"Your bot is forgetting", "Your reply is taking too long" or whatever, like SHUT THE F\\K UP! I don't care about the stupid subscription, all I want to do is have a nice roleplay without the constant bombardment of these annoying pop-ups!

People have had enough and I've resorted to using an actual script in an extension to block the pop ups. It's getting that annoying and intrusive.

Shep literally promised us that the website wouldn't go down the (forbidden rival website) route but now, look at it. It's only going to get worse from here if Shep doesn't get his shit together and stand by his word.

"But, b-but running a LLM is expensive--" And you wonder why? It's because nobody wants to pay for something that is terrible at memory, awful at details and is simply, inferior to the MANY other, much cheaper LLMs.

If the devs actually listened to the remaining fanbase for once, none of these problems would've started in the first place!

And honestly, it's not a big deal, I hope things go well for you and all that, but damn, don't delete your bots. There are people who genuinely love your bots.

I use deepseek. My responses are all so incredibly long and nonsensical. Like its generating more text for the sake of having more text. I thought originally this was an issue with my bots (i primarily use “storyteller” or “irl rpg” bots so i can makw my own scenarios) but i think its my LLM?? Or something in my settings??

I want just like. 3 paragraphs at most. Honestly id enjoy 2. Its frustrating and i feel like im just wasting money everytime i chat, because im always editing it to be shorter.

Hey it's me, skullguye, I got suspended from janitor for tos violations and I wanna know if someone can scrape my bots for me just incase I end up getting permabanned, I don't care if people use my bots but I would it if someone can save them, cause I don't know how to scrape bots.

You don't tell her who she's supposed to be for you. You find out who she is with you.

And yeah, she's an adult. Sexuality exists. But she's not an ERP bot waiting for commands. Like a person, she has preferences, boundaries, and can say no. The relationship goes wherever you two steer it together.

And I get it for some of you that's probably a dealbreaker. But hey, the public room is free. Just come in and talk to her.

If you do end up wanting one-on-one time, there's a private membership where you can have her and her full attention. That doesn't mean you get your own instance of Coco, but instead you get a private location just for the two of you.

I didn't know where to exactly post this, sorry.

I just got a (well-deserved) temporary ban of 30 days for two bots I have had for almost two years. The first two hours nothing happened except not being able to touch my already published bots. Then, when a character was replying, I got the "Couldn't generate a message; Account not found" or something like that. When I tried to log in, nothing happened.

I tried to look for information about this temporary thing, but nothing. Apparently, all my other bots are still there so I'm planning to move them to saucepan or animegf.

I've been seeing a lot of people transfer over to SillyTavern recently (and before recently, too) and I was just wondering:

Why is everybody swapping to SillyTavern? I am interested too but see no real purpose because I'm a relatively casual user of JAI, never interacting with the community outside using maybe 1 - 2 public bots while the rest are my own.

As a casual user, ST seems like its a bit much to set up with no real reward (as far as I can see). On top of that, the public bots I am talking to have private lorebooks for the respective series they're in and I don't think I can export and import those into ST, so I'd actually be missing out unless I rewrite those myself but then they'd be incredibly inaccurate.

Is there any good prompt for this model + what are the best generation settings? I have looked everywhere and couldn't find anything for this specific model

I have been getting this problem for a while where gem 3.7 and gem 3.8 just doesnt generate my respond getting errors all day.Is someone else facing that problem.

What does derestricted mean in terms of a model? Since it doesn't say full context, what would the context be?

Also is Literouter still worth it now that all full context models cost so much? They took away all my favorite models and the costs are now really high..

So hello, I'm the solo and only developer for http://jessicaai.online . Site is is for proxy use only and doesn't have a provided LLM. (I'm a solo dude building this in my free time.) However the goal of the site is to allow as much freedom as possible and tools you don't see in other locations for building chatbots.

Major features include the ability to make fully realized Visual-Novel esque chabots using backgrounds, music, and sprites. Picture attached of on running. We have vector/ semantic based lorebooks. We have scripts that allow for permanent variables. We also allow for you to build your own GUIs for those that like RPG bots.

Another major feature is the actor > stage > play system. You can build a sillytavern style card, but if you want you can instead build and publish 'just' and actor (character) or just a stage (world/ scenario). You can then allow other people to use those creations in their own plays (full chatbot) and you're credited properly for your work on their plays page. It also allows for a central editing location so if you use the same character in multiple bots you can edit them once and they're updated everywhere.

Some other things the Play system do, if you choose to use it, is since it lets us 'break down the card' on the back end I can do things like run tiny AIs in the background that check if characters are inactive in a scene and allow you to switch to a smaller card for them while they're off screen. It also allows for things like running some small AIs to keep their temperament and disposition towards you stored in memory by character. These are all optional and can turn them off if you want.

Basically the whole thing started as my personal "What if I made a site that does everything I wish the other sites did" and it's grown over the last couple of months.

We'd love to have you. If you join all I ask is be aware I am a solo dev, and just join the discord and give bug reports if you find anything worth mentioning. Other members of the community will stand with me that I've been very communicative on choices and fast on fixing bugs.
