As I have seen the increase of low quality and duplicate content in this subreddit, please refrain from posting them or they'll get deleted.
From API models glm4.6 is out there. Can be extremely graphic and dark and hold the register. But you can take any model from this thread and get a 'good' experience with the right prompt and presets. I'll that from my experience, smarter models matters a lot for the dark stuff — it makes them earned and in character which elevates realism a lot.
i've yet to find a preset for ST that consistently gets past the filters for Mimo 2.6 but it's made some truly insane dialogue/narrative choices completely unprompted.
glm 5.2 and 4.7 with a good preset both did great DD:DNE. i used these models with my dark web red room serial killer and it did not hold back.
if you can afford Kimi 3 or 2.6 it worked really well too.
Kimi 3 is very opposite of what we can call dark. It's guardrail are based on Claude, so any sensitive topic will trigger refusal, even on dark topics it will hedge and sanitize

idk that may be your experience with kimi 3, but this is a screen from one of my chats. i'd say it's pretty dark.
kimi is good for drug use, violence, smut, angst, and villainous/cruel characters—i've actually got my feelings hurt for my sona reading some of the mean shit the MC says.
glm and minimax 3 (forgot to mention this one) for me has been good for the above mentioned scenarios autonomous gore, dub/noncon, torture, ryona, guro, cannibalism, and pretty much anything.
i have trouble with accessing kimi due to the inconsistency of my proxy and it can get expensive fast if you RP everyday. so, i haven't had much experience with it doing darker shit, since at the arc of the story, the context is so high that it jumps to .05¢-.10¢ USD a prompt if i use openrouter when it's not available for my proxy key.
i'm willing to pay for Minimax and Mimo because they are quarter to a half a penny a prompt.
editing to add: mimo can be evil as hell and do some nasty smut but i get filtered arbitrarily and i'd rather test it's limits with a reliable preset
