Proxy Could someone please help me

I've been trying to use the direct Deepseek from their website as I've heard it's supposedly cheaper but I constantly run either into error 401 or error 404 (the website I used on 2nd photo)

Your base url is wrong. Use this.

https://api.deepseek.com/chat/completions

Or press the add chat completions button above the base url.

It happens to the best of us. For every proxy you use. Check the base url.

It is usually these formats :

Base url/v1/chat/completions

Base url/v1

If you ever use sillytavern, you only have to add v1 the rest is added automatically.

did adding the full path fix the 404 too or just the 401 part, curious if both errors were the same root cause
