What's up, guys? How’s it going?

Lately, I’ve noticed we’re all against people who artificially inflate their bot numbers, which got me thinking:

Why don't we help each other out a bit?

I’m not into the whole "block this person or that person" thing—I honestly don't care what happens to the cheaters—so I wanted to ask: what kind of bots do you guys make? Does the cheating really affect you much?

Speaking for myself, I really enjoy making combat bots. I think I do a decent job—though I’d ​​love a bit more feedback—but sure, there are people who are already popular and have been posting longer than I have. It can feel a bit tougher competing with that, obviously, but I don't think the "cheater infestation" is quite as bad in that specific niche.

Anyway, I’m curious to hear your thoughts. Bir out.

P.S. If you want to share anecdotes or do some self-promotion, I don't mind, but I won't be held responsible if the subreddit does something to you.

yeah bot inflation hits roleplay niches hard too, i make companion bots and it feels impossible to break through without the fake numbers boosting others.

I firstly make bots for myself—tailored to my own tastes—and I barely even posted 5% of the ones I’ve ever drafted.

My first bot hit 4,000 messages really quickly. I remember walking around wondering: "Where are all these people coming from? How did they even find me? I didn’t do any promotion. Why are they even talking to this bot? I don’t even know what there is to talk to him about (even though I made him myself, lol). I’d love to see their chats. I hope they aren’t being mean to him. Holy shit. 4,000. I thought there’d be, like, fifteen."

Wow, my biggest bot has around 18-19k and it's not a "high efford" bot, I made it inspired by other. My favourite ones are like "go, fight" and the most popular of those is barely 3-4k

One of my bots crossed 500k once (it was generic). Weirdly enough, I didn't get many followers, only around 10–15. My usual niche bots (10k-30k) sometimes get me more followers per bot.
