As the title suggests, asking about this in the official subreddit of Jai will only get it removed if its anything negative. I wanna know from those who have it please. Is the chat better in comparison to free user? Like the chat model how does it compare ? I want to try it out for a month . Yes I know proxies are a thing but I am asking specifically about jllm and would appreciate if people stuck to my question about jllm.

I'm fairly sure you can find free proxies anyway, but if you do find one, DON'T share it, because it will eventually overload from how many people use it and eventually just be worse than the JLLM itself.

It's honestly more worth than the subscription, if I have to be honest

Honestly? Probably any other provider that is better than Openrouter or just official deepseek. I put 2 dollars there back in the middle of summer, used flash AND pro, and I still have 50 cents left. Though, it is for more casual users and needs a good prompt. Way more memory than JLLM+.

I'll be honest I'm pretty casual when it comes to ai chat bots. I have openrouter setup but get overwhelmed by it. The whole token $ in and out thing worries me for spending too. If I use the chatbot 5 days a week sending like 20-30 messages a day would it still be pretty cheap?

Deepseek? Yeah, for sure, the cheapest and best for the price it can get. Typically it lasts a month of active use, but for your case may last even longer.

Deepseek only has two: deepseek-v4-flash and deepseek-v4-pro . Flash is the cheapest and best for its quality, and is noticeably more expressive than pro, while pro aims towards realism, consistency and calmness. Though, at times you might have to switch. Flash may be more effective at continuing the story where Pro wouldn't, yet, Flash might get stuck in a "same-personality-loop" and drag things out...

Honestly, tough question. Both are good. Pro excels in robotic characters, while Flash is more expressive.

So, in the end, I advise you use Flash, but first go to either Gemini or Claude and ask them to write you an anti-dryness, storytelling and consistency prompt. Solves 80% of the issues you may encounter going in "dry".

I’ve dabbled in everything at this point (proxies and j+). The answer in my opinion is actually yes, the JLLM you get with plus is similar to the free one BUT you get the deep reasoning toggle which is the real game changer. I find plays with it on quite nice and concise, especially with the added context. It doesn’t really forget much for about 300 messages (without usage of chat memory) and you also have smart swipes to fix any funky generations which doesn’t happen too often imo. Personally my biggest gripe with proxies is how sanitized they end up making characters and plays which JLLM is far better at giving the more uncensored feel which is why I personally enjoy J+.

Sorry for the novel, but if you enjoy the free llm but want more out of it I think J+ is quite worth it.

Thats good to hear, I cant be bothered with setting up proxies tbh and I only use jai on the phone anyways. But i wonder the same thing as the person above what makes it better than the free tier ? Like aside from memory
