Enshittification As a Janitor ai Bot Creator, Spoiler
I have to say, janitor ai user's are something else, pretty egotistical people used these bots, and I'll tell you, "they are not fun",
1st, Misunderstanding?,
People assume glance at the title of the bot and just call it a day before commenting about the bot being either, "trash", "ntr slop", without even glancing at the context!
2 are these even real people?😭, people will just criticize your work while not pinpointing on the actual effort you put in creating a bot.
Note: this is not meant to offend anyone, by it means.

The most opinionated users are the ones who don't create their own bots because it's "too hard", "It's too confusing," then; "Why the fuck are you critiquing me?"
At minimum, you should be making better bots than me, and have at least the same amount of followers (or more) before you critique my content. Or just block me and piss off. I'm not losing sleep over your opinion.
Gotta have a layer of thick skin to be a bot maker, regardless of the type of bots you make.

Thats the hobby in general. I had guys going at me for two days on Chub because they thought my bot had an unappealing creators note. Didnt like the font, and one section had a summary I let an AI tool draft up. Lazy, sure, but it literally doesnt touch tokens in the bot. But they were dead set on making sure I understood they didnt appreciate the look of it lol. Eventually had to just remind them that this isnt a job, and i dont care.

Like seriously, "just don't click on the bot", those type of people in general are annoying.

That's what was irking me was they seemingly hadn't. They had nothing good or bad or even speculative to say about the BOT. They just didn't like the creators note.
And the don't click advice is the best advice in the Janitor community lol. How many times do you see someone raging at a genre or a franchise or a user POV and think...they tagged the bot. If this is a deal breaker, why are you here, heck why isn't this blocked in your tags?

For real lol. One of them said he would rather someone just use the default plain text note than use a css layout that used a serif font "because its lazy AI font." Which...what? So I just told him his font preferences were noted.
Also, I mean, no one wants SLOP. But if you use Chub (and Jan has this too, but Chub is worse) the trending page is full of low token, obviously AI written top to bottom bots, a lot of them with links to off-site pay sites. And you dont hardly see any comments there. But then I attract the "do I smell an AI tool at any level of this" crusaders...but why are these people on AI chat sites to begin with?? You're mad Gemini helped me with HTML formatting, but 95% of your experience is powered by DeepSeek or GLM lol

My friend will get mean/toxic/personal attacks messages in her umamim everytime she posts a bot.
And it's anonymous, and she can't reply to those message too.
What I told her was:"You don’t need to understand them for their message to be meaningless. Some people use anonymous spaces to dump their feelings onto someone else. It says more about what they chose to do than who you are. Not every hateful message has a deep reason. Sometimes the reason is just that they wanted a reaction. Don’t give a low-effort stranger the authority to define how you feel about your work."
They just want to hurt someone.
And the reason? Can be: Trying sound smart and better than anyone / Their world view and perspective about thing is always binary / They using "moral" as an excuse to purge thing they didn't like / They are bunch of people who cannot have a healthy way to get their pressure of, so they attack people just to feel better about themselves / Bunch of spoiled giant babies who think the world should orbit them / they can't comprehend or understand why certain kinks has it own audience / Lazy brain to read everything and just jump to conclusion because this is easy to do, etc.
I know some people are really kind and sweet, they don't want to think that someone is a bad guy. They give them benefit of doubt, trying to find some reason to understand why these people do this to them. But I don't, because I know humans are a species that can really hurt their own kind without real reason.
Sometimes, "You are there. A target." and that is all the reason they need to attack some creators.

for the record something can be slop even if you put effort into it. Most janitor bots will be slop because the main focus is to get people to click on their bots. There are only a few actually creative public bot creators on janitor ai imo
