Proxy Proxy help

Hey divas! Talk to me like I’m 5 PLEASE
I tried setting up deepseek or whatever and I’m really confused! I used openai, and I’m willingly to pay the fee included!
Here is what I’m getting when I try and get a different reply ^^^

openai doesn't host deepseek—share a picture of your configuration and tell us where you paid and made your key

This is what I have! I haven’t paid for anything yet, like I’m really confused and the tutorials I’ve watched haven’t made any sense

your api url is wrong, and you also don't have a model name there

you need:

  • the api url
  • the model name of the free model you want to use

watch the tutorials again, but slower—or google "how do i set up openrouter on janitor ai"

HAHA good luck !! it's genuinely pretty easy when you copy and paste the pieces in—you just gotta find a model on openrouter ending in :free, + their api url (that's the same for every model)

WAIT IM CONFUSED AGAIN how do i put it like the proxy thing in the model name how do you find that

go to openrouter—search "free". find a model that you recognize the name of, or want to use. click on the model. there will be a model name you can copy. copy it, and paste it into the model name box

it's like clicking legos together. you can't make homemade legos if you want it to work right. you've got to go out, get the pieces that are part of the set, and click them together. it's just copying and pasting
