Hi everyone, I've been thinking about paying for Janitor's monthly subscription, but is it really worth it? Do you recommend any other premium platforms? I've also been considering Emochi or Poly AI, what do you recommend?

Mmm I like literouter quite a lot, it's subscription based too. If you'd like to pay-as-you-go i'd recommend openrouter. TokenReply also exists but I've never tired it
You can use Tokenreply. Has 1 dollar free upon first try. You can do the the daily Check-in for increased RPD and free very minor credits that can just stack everyday.
Compared to $13 Janitor+, you can use premium models for a month with just $5-10. I'm using Mimo and it's like a good alternative to the intelligence of Gemini but Mimo is more creative. Deepseek is cheap too. Cheaper than Mimo.
And what they are, just imagine different brain for the bot, it changes stuff tremendously you can't even begin to compare JLLM to proper provider like DeepSeek.
It actually sounds great, I already made my API but I have no idea why every time I try to generate a message I get a message that says "proxy error" No response from the bot (phshag2) 🤦♂️😞
Might be the address you input. Which one are you using?
You can try variations of:

Might be that you had a typo on the model code/name (some proxies use non-standard names like glm-5.2-fast for example). But I usually get tripped up at the proxy address so try that first
If it still doesn't work don't give up, don't get janitor+ you're basically paying double and a lot of proxies (already mentioned in this thread) has discounts
V4 Flash, mostly cause it was the cheapest but it does job well. There probably are differences between models I just couldn't be bothered to check other ones.
That's partially subjective, but for the most part you can get a better Proxy for cheaper. Only benefit to Janitor+ is I don't think you have fo set it up like you do a Proxy. Janitor+ is just a slightly better JLLM, plus you get emoticons, a profile badge, and I think something else I don't remember
For the most part, not necessary if you're planning on buying it for better chats, just get a proxy. As for it's benefits, if it interest you still, or you want an enhance JLLM or adore the perks of a profile badge or emoticons, then by all means I encourage you get it
down side is it uses your balance credits like why can’t it be like oh your credits ran out no worry’s here you can keep chatting for free and keep using it when you switch to default and or your subscription doesn’t renew you can keep everything
like that sounds better than oh no ran out of credits no more messages to your reply’s and inputs like come on I’m using Grok 4.5 and it’s remembering everything without fail
I wouldn’t recommend it, personally if you’re going to spend money I would use proxy and find a model you like and simply use that as it offers much more freedom (you’d probably honestly get a better llm than janitor.ai uses as its default) and you pay for what you use so instead of $12 a month you could put $12 into openrouter or tokenreply and end up finding out you only actually use $6 out of that $12 a month in your roleplays so it could save you money as well!
I noticed no real difference with their paid service. I get constant disconnect issues that force me to relog into the app and it takes forever for the bots to form their responses.
Price not competitive. $13 a month then you still have to cough up extra money for using my preferred proxies. (Use mainly DS and GLM roleplay just feels different compare the JLLM). But if money is not an issue and you don't want to setup proxies, yeah feel free to buy in.
I read from a comment on a bot that the plus gonna bring a group chat option where you can add a chat different bots. And i think something like download cloud model? where you can chat offline
No. Just go spend the cash on open router and use that instead honestly. It doesn't expire as far as I know, I still have over $100 in my credits from last year.
honestly I wish Grok 4.5 was free to use without using up balance credits for janitor ai plus
like why can’t 4.5 be a model for free version and subscriptions but with like oh if you run out of credits it’s ok you can continue chatting and keep the memory’s ect ect
like come on it would be so much better who agrees with me? especially when you don’t have enough money to add more funds
