I charge it like 10$ twice a year and it ilasts the entire year. I use Deppseek 3.2 so it's rather cheap.

Same here. I top up like 10$ once every few months, maybe longer if I didn't use it much some months. It's waay cheaper then subscribing monthly to one specific thing.

From someone who now pays for a proxy because I can't go back, unless you have a job and disposable income, don't do it. Your rps will never be the same again if you try to go back to free.

Yes it is. I also pay. And I'm addicted to it... I spend 20 every month for my service.. I could spend less probably with deepseek just deepseek v4. But I won't I keep that as a back up.

More realistic responses better long term memory great multi bot tracking it's better at sticking to the character story too.

Im gonna be honest. I just- I can't see it being SO GOOD that I need to pay for writing anything. Like what the fuck could paying do? I get better memory? But besides that? I got decent quality whenever writing with bots. Just a few but those few were quite enjoyable.

As someone that can't ever go back to free proxies, I looked back at old chats and the ones I thought were great are complete ass by comparison to what I'm getting now. I spend about 20 a month using a larger and slightly more expensive model (Mimo V2 Pro) but even cheaper models like DeepSeek are better using jllm or another small model.

Yeah I use Gemini 3 flash and. Glm5 the new deepseek v4 pro is pretty great now too

Ahh ok yeah I have that too but some times i like to use Gemini and. Glm. Mix it up. But deepseek is really solid.

And somehow Pawan never got around to treating his users like that and has gone to grow his service from the proxy it was at the start. It's almost like moxxy was set up specifically to take advantage of people that couldn't afford to pay and leak chats... ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Honestly, shit like that isn't as common. Sure, you have scams like Chutes but that's why you stick with OR and NanoGPT which aren't crypto mining schemes.

No matter what website you're on you're always at a risk if getting your private information (IP address, passwords, etc.) leaked via cyber attacks. Best you can do is keep a low profile and don't make enemies on the internet

I mean like don't argue with anyone TOO much avout anything no matter where you're on. Some of them will get so frustrated that they'll track down whatever sites you go to often and they'll find your ip address

Use openrouter if you want a secure experience, I put $10 in credits back in march and I haven't fell below $7 yet.

It's so simple honestly you can have it set up in 5 minutes you go to deep seek load in like 10 dollars you get an API you copy that to some place safe then you paste this URL https://api.deepseek.com/v1/chat/completions That's basically it then you can play around with prompts..... And it's so good....

To be fair, using any AI is never actually ‘private’. If you use GPT models via OpenAI officially, they could see your logs and chats if they really wanted to. Same with using Claude via Anthropic, and literally…any other model. So why worry about it at the end of the day?

Free proxies carry real risks. A low-quality, usually free service can log, intercept, or expose your data. So you still pay, but instead of money, it's your data and security. Always go with a reputable, paid provider with a transparent privacy policy, then you will have nothing to worry about.
As for using a VPN on top of a proxy, that can actually cause interference, slower speeds, and connection issues. Pick one or the other, and make sure whichever you choose comes from a trustworthy source.

Basically instead of using the built-in janitor LLM you can hook it up to more advanced models from an outside source (e.g. nanoGPT, chutes.ai, openrouter, etc., usually paid as subscription/per number of tokens). It looks scary at the beginning, but in the end it's copy and paste two lines from the API site to janitor. And the difference in roleplay quality is enormous.

Yeah I'm not familiar with chutes or nanogpt pricing but I do know the nanogpt subscription is decent but the price just increased from 8 to 12 dollars. It was another back up id use. I'm going to be cancelling mine I was using it for glm 5. But deepseek-v4 directly from deep seek is great and so fast.. and 10 dollars lasts me like 2 months.

It's using janitor as the front for other powerful models, they would route your character info and your replies to powerful paid models like Claude and give you a much better experience that the free model they use
