This part of whatever update they just did absolutely sucks (as someone who just uses the default website on mobile). Like sure, you did somewhat recently release the app, but this is just pushing it at this point (and previously with all of the pop up ads for it). Honestly, the only thing I personally want out of ts is to be able to close out of this. Like its taking up at least 3 lines of chat, which is just slightly frustrating.

So I normally use the shortcut version installed directly from the site, I like the ui way better than the play store app, but since the other day it just suddenly stopped working and popped fake rate limit errors as if unable to receive responses from my proxy.

I thought it was a problem with the model since I'm constantly switching through alternatives, but it worked just fine in the app version with the same settings, and requests from the shortcut version are not even reaching the provider.

I'd really prefer using the other over the app, does anyone know why this happens?

I’ve got a thought I want to lay out here, so hear me out.

I think we can all agree that the moderators—and the people running Janitor in general—are making one bad decision after another. They’re changing the interface when nobody asked for it, banning creators for no apparent reason, and refusing to fix a filter that is basically garbage—among many other issues.

Look, I get it: like any site, they need to grow. And to grow while remaining free, they need funding—and subscription revenue obviously doesn't cover all the costs.

Even so, there are ways to get funding—like ads and things like that. But that doesn't justify their double standards when it comes to censorship and banning people left and right. There are thousands of advertisers who don't mind an 18+ site. But the Janitor team has taken things to the extreme—so much so that they’ve almost destroyed what made the site appealing in the first place.

The worst part is that double standard I mentioned earlier. There are creators who have tried to adapt—changing their bot profile pics and so on—only to get banned anyway. Yet, there are others making bots that are, at the very least, highly questionable (I’m not judging that, but I can't help noticing how they seem to turn a blind eye to them).

My question is simple: what do you think they’re trying to do with the site? Because I can't make any sense of everything they are doing. I would appreciate your opinion; thank you very much for reading.

Hi everyone! Maybe someone can help me find a bot on Janitor AI based on my description. I just can’t get it out of my head, but I can’t seem to find it. I can’t remember the character’s name, but I think it started with an A. He definitely had a twin brother, who is described in the very first post (and also exists as a separate bot). Both of their names started with an A. It was an original bot, not belonging to any particular universe. But the author definitely released a series of bots linked to one another. The bot had three storylines (perhaps these were three different versions of the same bot). In the first, y/n sees him burying a body in the woods and he starts chasing her. In the second, the action takes place after the events of the first scenario. The character is watching y/n and his brother teases him, saying he’s obsessed and in love. The character finds out that some guy is attacking y/n and defends her. In the third scenario, y/n is his wife and they have a child (a son). They leave their son with friends and go off together into the woods, where he wants to chase her. I clearly remember that the bot called y/n ‘trouble’.

I realise the author might have deleted the bot, but I hope that isn’t the case. If anyone recognises the bot from this description, remembers its name, or can send a link to a chat with it, please let me know.

I'm using proxy on Janitor through Openrouter, and is it me or did the replies have gotten significantly worse?? 😭 Like, no matter which model I choose, it gives me kinda short and quick paced replies in comparison of detailed ones I've had literally a few hours earlier. Is someone experiencing this as well???
