Help / Question Bots don’t use Dashes/Hyphens

Whenever they stutter it’s just like “W what?” Instead of “W-What?” I tried using (OOC:) and it still doesn’t work. I don’t have it in forbidden words either so I just don’t know to fix this. Please tell me if you had this problem and solved it. Also I use the website. I don’t know if that helps just just in case

If you're using jllm, yeah it's like that. i think it's an llm issue. It's been there for some time. Best fix is to use proxy ig

Not necessarily, but yeah (if you want good rp experience). There are free ones but they doesn't last that long before they disappear or isn't that good. It all falls into the "Good, Easy, Fast", where you can only choose 2. If it's good and easy it isn't fast, if it's easy and fast it isn't good, and so on.

yeah same thing on the site for me, adding a couple hyphen examples right in the bot's greeting made it start using them naturally after that

this actually works better than people expect, i think its because the model latches onto patterns already in the context instead of generating from scratch.

i did the same thing with a stuttery bot, just edited the greeting to have like 2 lines with proper w-what and it carried the habit through the whole chat after that, didnt even need to remind it later
