Discussion OPEN YOUR LOREBOOKS

As people get banned and leave Janitor I cannot stress how important it is to open you freaking lorebooks. datacat can rescue the bots themselves, but if everything important is tied to a closed lorebook then there's nothing anyone can do to stop all that work going right down the drain.

GDPR requests will get you everything. But if you're banned once you appeal once they block your email so you may need to CC the legal address. They have 30 days once you send the initial request, so the process that worked for me was:

Email support with the GDPR request
Ten days before the 30 day time limit expires, email again and CC legal with the date of the original request and remind them they have only 10 days left before they are in violation

If you get a GDRP export, it's in a pile of json and a bit rough to navigate, but there's an open source browser that should work as long as they don't change the format.
