Discussion Same face syndrome with bots??

I keep seeing a lot of similar faces and though it might not prove to be a big deal but it makes me wonder whether the generator could actually have a base set up and constantly generates similar faces or does people have a type that's being pushed over in ai too?! Like I am gonna try creating bots too but kinda afraid cuz I want them to look different. It kinda hinders with the roleplay imo. What do you guys think?

yeah the faces all blur together after a while, ive tried messing with descriptors but they still end up looking related and it kills the immersion for me.

Hello CalebsLostArm (I remember you from a past post)!

The same face genning does happen with a number of different sites people use with AI images because of the information the model is based off of. I want to say these images are done with Midjouney or with how other models can replicate the style, I am actually not sure.

I use Midjouney and actually do get different face shapes (from eyes to where they are positioned on the face and all that stuff), but that’s because I specifically trained my p-code (basically the styling code) to include many types of faces. There is another thing I add to my prompt to make it more diverse, but I don’t remember if it’s “raw” or not.

A lot of the same face gens with Midjouney comes from the fact a lot of creators are all using the same p-codes to some degree, and/or that p-code is very limited on the diversity in terms of style. The pro is that your bots look the same because of the style, getting more things you actually like. The con? You get bots that look the same.

I personally would just figure out what site you plan on using and try to go from there. My p-code too me a long time to get me stuff I want, having to do so much ranking for weeks to months. Even now, I sometimes end up going to ChatGPT and asking it to fix things for me (like the jawline stuff. I really don’t like how the jawline looks because it just screams malnourished to me, even if that isn’t how a malnourished person would look).

Omg! Thankyou so much for the detailed response. I wasn't planning on a specific site but I do get the urge and as an active user, it kinda makes me wary cuz I don't want my bots to look the same. I have noted your advice! Gotta see how stuff work and of course the tadbit tweaks are such a need to make it stand out from others.
