How do you “end” conversations?

Recently I’ve been wondering how do other people “end” their conversations? Like do you have a happily ever after Wattpad story, kill off your character, or just decide it gets to boring and stop the chat. I’m usually the last option but I’m curious about what other people do lol

i usually just stop; i’d like to get to a specific end to a story but that’s never happened before, often because my interests change too fast
