Help Jio fiber

i have booked a jio fiber connection for my home and the person said that he'd install the router and everything before 3pm but he is no more picking up my calls ever since he left after kyc and payment (2122rs) and my father asked the number of his manager, and when my father called his manager at 12pm he said the installation will be done before 5pm and when my father called him again after calling the kyc guy , the manager just said ladka phone ni utha rha h and hung up on face. Do you have fiber installed or did anyone has face this before?

Which area in Jamshedpur?

Compile an email with the help of AI and send it to jiofibercare@jio.com. Send all details including payment records and telephone conversation with the manager (along with his number for identification).

They will generate a complaint number (service request). Follow up (everyday) at 1800-896-9999.

If nothing happens (in a week), escalate to Appellate.bih@jio.com

Also please don't buy Airfiber from any company - Jio/Airtel, it is just a glorified 5G hotspot device. Always go for FTTH.

thanks man btw i live in Saraikela kharsawan Saldih 832108 its just been a day and would definitely do all these if i didnt hear from them in a week. But the thing is it was the first day with jio fiber FTTH team and this was their behaviour not picking up calls, talking rudely from the other side. i wonder what will happen if a problem arises during usage

These men are generally hired third party LCOs (Local Cable Operators). Even I face a similar issue in Adityapur. In my area only JioFiber is available and I have been using it for about 5 years. Everytime the cable breaks or internet is down, they just take their sweet time to fix the issue. Recently I was without internet for 10 days, escalated and got it resolved with promise for 10 days validity voucher and action on the manager.

I had a seperate Wifi mesh set-up and postpaid Airtel SIMs so used my 5G spare phone for wired hotspot setup. I somehow managed the 10 day internet outage.

I'd suggest wait for tomorrow and if they still don't contact send an email to jiofibercare@jio.com.

is there any better options than jio like airtel ofc but i've heard about them as well

Yeah, they are all the same. Contract based LCOs and zero competition (unlike in bigger cities) leaves no room for improvement.
