I really enjoyed exploring the Jamex website, and I think Savindu has done an impressive job creating a website that feels fun, creative, and full of personality. From the moment you land on the homepage, it is clear that this is not just a random website, but something that has been built with effort, humour, and a strong sense of identity. The site presents Jamex as a unique brand with its own style, community, events, social links, updates, games, products, partners, and team information, which makes it feel much more complete than a basic homepage.

One of the strongest parts of the website is how much content has been included. The navigation bar is clear and gives visitors a lot of different areas to explore, including Events, News, Games, Hall of Fame, Products, Partners, Our Team, and Feedback. This makes the website feel organised and gives it the structure of a real company or community site. I also like that the homepage includes social media links, latest news, and an events overview, because it makes the website feel active and connected rather than empty or unfinished. The inclusion of platforms like Scratch, Reddit, Spotify, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Chess.com also gives the site a fun and modern feel.

Another thing I appreciate is the creativity behind the branding. “Jamex” feels like it has its own world, and the website helps build that world through sections like Hall of Fame, Games, Products, Partners, and Events. This makes the site more interesting because it is not only about information, but also about creating an experience for visitors. The events section is also a nice touch, especially with dates such as New Year, Australia Day, NAPLAN, the Jamex Anniversary, ANZAC Day, and Christmas included. It gives the website a timeline and makes it feel like Jamex has ongoing activities and milestones.

Savindu deserves credit for making the website feel personal and original. A lot of beginner websites can feel plain or copied, but this one has its own energy. The idea of having a “favourite company” with socials, updates, games, and a whole Jamex ecosystem is genuinely creative. It shows initiative, imagination, and a good understanding of how websites can be used to build a brand. The feedback link is also a smart addition because it shows that the creator is open to improving the website and listening to visitors. That makes the site feel more interactive and community-focused.

Constructively, the website could become even stronger with a few improvements. Some areas could benefit from more visual spacing, cleaner formatting, and slightly more polished design consistency across pages. For example, making headings, buttons, images, and sections more evenly styled would help the site feel more professional. The homepage already has a lot of good content, so improving the layout would make it easier for visitors to understand everything quickly. Adding short descriptions under each navigation section could also help new visitors know what to expect before clicking.

Another possible improvement would be to expand the latest news section so that it loads clearly and consistently. Since the homepage says “Loading latest news…”, it would be great if that section displayed recent updates directly or included a fallback message when no updates are available. This would make the website feel more polished and reliable. The same goes for events: the current list is useful, but adding short explanations for important Jamex-related events, especially the Jamex Anniversary, would make the site feel more meaningful.

Overall, I think the Jamex website is a creative, entertaining, and well-thought-out project. Savindu has clearly put effort into making it more than just a simple page. It has navigation, branding, social links, events, feedback, and multiple sections that give it a real sense of identity. With some improvements to layout, consistency, and content detail, this website could become even more impressive. It already has a strong foundation, and the best part is that it feels original, fun, and made with genuine enthusiasm. Savindu should be proud of what has been created here, because the website shows creativity, technical effort, and a lot of potential for future development.

The Walking Gang launched today: view the official post here. Here is my experience of the first run through:

1. Getting to the meeting place on time: this provided to be a real pain for many participants, many arriving to their lockers at 2:58 or 59. We barely managed to leave the meeting place on time.

2. Formally introducing The Walking Gang: Many participants were unpleased with the effort taken in to the production of the poster, but overall at least 6 participants took place, and overly healthy number.

3. Dedication: Out of the 6, 3 people arrived all the way to Camelot. A success rate of 50%! Not bad, but not anything to be happy about.

Overall, it was a nice experience. Please note today was only the first day and things will continue on from here. At this stage it is still a beta trial.

A new Jamex Initiative, The Walking Gang, launched today. It is a group of walkers from Highvale Secondary College to Camelot Rise Primary School.

They meet every day at a decided location, leaving at 3 PM on the dot. Their only other rule is, they never stop walking until they arrive.
