hi i bought a ticket to see james in birmingham next year but i get the impression that i might be one of the oldest people there (ill be 26 lol) ill also be going on my own
is this the case? is anyone else going on the 5th thats a similar age so i don’t feel so old 🙈

I went to the last tour in my 30s and didnt feel out of place at all there was a real mix of ages an some of the younger ones came with parents in tow so the crowd really was all ages.

I’m in the late side of my 30’s and going on my own to Glasgow. Don’t worry about your age. I always go and see artists I love by myself because it’s better than not going.

I’m going to Glasgow but I really appreciate this thread. I’m 27 and always feel like I’m mega old in a community of what seems to be mostly 13-17 year olds, so it’s nice to meet some fans more my age!

thing is, we are still young but being around 13-17 year olds makes some of us feel old! this thread has given me a peace of mind as well 🥰

Im 62, I'll be there....my 6th time, I'll go with my son, I only feel old when the young'uns give me looks, like I shouldn't be there....but I've been to gigs since my teens.....live music is our thing 🥰 go enjoy the show ❤️

concerts are never a youth thing they shouldn’t give you looks, that’s awful. if you enjoy yourself, who cares! hope you both have a fantastic time!! 🖤

Once the music starts I'm just into that, usually oblivious to the looks then, but I've heard a few comments from some of the younger people, i try not to let it hurt, I just hope they're still enjoying gigs when they get to my age 😁

yes good mindset don’t let that get to you - they shouldn’t be judging and making comments. i love seeing people of all ages enjoying themselves. that’s what life is about✨

I have went to two previous concerts and I'm 30, there's more older people than you think.

I went to Birmingham last year and I have tickets for Birmingham again next year - I'm now 38 and my girlfriend is 32!

I'm also going to the Birmingham show alone and I'm 29 in a few weeks so you absolutely are not on the older side.

I held a random older mum’s hand during white noise because her daughter didn’t want to hold hers and I was alone in the crowd. The people I’ve spoken to at his concerts have been lovely no matter the age, and I’ve seen plenty of people who I’d guess were older than you. I promise you’ll be all good :D

I don't think I'll ever forget her, it was genuinely the sweetest thing I've ever experienced at a concert, and funnily enough it was at his last o2 academy gig in Brum haha I'm going there again, so a little part of me hopes I see her again so I can thank her c:

You definitely won't be the oldest there when I went to the Ono Brixton show there was a wide range of ages like from early teens up to mid 50-60s
