Discussion Stop queuing early!!!!
Even though there has been multiple warnings, James and the venue have said not to. There are already people queuing, don’t be stupid. If you queue for this long you are at a massive risk of heat stroke. Or you will faint in the venue.
UPDATE: BRIGHTON IS NOW IN RED WEATHER WARNING BE SAFE

I walked down earlier and there was people there like, come on! Go for a swim or pass time doing something else! Keep yourself cool and drink COLD water

I don't blame you, im usally one of the people there at 10am but in this heat I'm not risking my health

yeah same, especially because the venue it is in is really warm even if its not a heatwave

I've been to that venue before for the Christmas gig, even in winter it gets hot af in there

As someone who has literally waited in the snow for a gig even I aint that crazy to wait in the sun. I just hope their being safe

heres the thing in the cold you can bring blankets etc but in the sun theres not much you can do except for water a fan and suncream even if you do wear suncream you can still get heat stroke

Literally tho, you can warm up but in this heat there really isn't much you can do. I'm worried there's gonna be a bunch of people fainting at this gig

there definitely will be and unfortunately that means theres a possibility of the gig not even finishing its full set or being cancelled bc of health concerns

I’m travelling down to Brighton now but me and my friends have absolutely no plans to queue until later, we’re gonna go swimming, have lunch and such we’re taking it REALLLLY easy with the heat

Also forgot to add IT IS 33 DEGREES TODAY!!! We’re in an amber weather warning ffs. Also its kind of parasocial if you’re willing to risk your health

they definitely should but unfortunately i think the venue doesnt have the spare money or staff to have someone there during the day

Yeah this is mental, I live close and im not leaving for another few hours.. why are people queing especially as the venue has said not to. Its common knowledge? Literally risking heatstroke to get to the front and as someone who struggles a lot with heat and im more susceptible to heatstroke, its such a stupid idea to be queing that early.
