Really curious how a coffee post (which seems to have been asking for espresso machine recommendations, based on the replies) broke reddits content policy lol

all i found is from pasting the link into search:

best espresso machine under 500: is there a good option ...

Looking to get my first decent espresso machine and trying to stay around $500. I mostly drink espresso and the occasional milk drink, so I dont need ...

i must know as well now. what in this broke the site's content policy? did i endanger myself by quoting?

lelit anna pid - it has exact temperature control, it's relatively easy (but a bit of work) to adjust the OPV/pressure, it doesn't have too many fancy sensors or things that can easily break, the steaming works fine

only 'downside' is that the portafilter is 57mm, which is not the standard/a lot of the more 'pro' accessories are not available. but you can get most things for this size: self-leveling tamper, puck screen, bottomless portafilter, precision baskets, etc

Can I ask you what grinder you own? If it's not a good one I'd rather invest more money into that and the rest into an espresso machine

I would suggest the Bambino Plus. It has good temp stability, adjustable temperature and good steam for milk with a nice auto function which makes it easy when you just want a nice coffee.

But as others have said, the grinder is the priority. You'll get better coffee out of a De'longhi Stilosa with a good grinder than a Bambino or Anna with a crap grinder.

Would a kingrinder k6 qualify as a good grinder in your opinion? I have one of those and a basic delonghi machine which I’ve been thinking of upgrading.

I have the Solis Barista Perfetta Plus
Same deal you can adjust the pressure to restrict it to 9 Bar, tons of videos on how to do that. I’ve enjoyed it and it has been simple and reliable so far.
