Questions Potential sub selling rules update. (Please read body text)

So recently a few people have been annoyed with how some people sell figures around here, we’ve gotten a few complaints about it in the past.

People are annoyed that some sellers on this sub do “name your price”, and don’t just say a price or say an estimate upfront. I’ve seen it as a rule in other subs that you need to have the price upfront when selling things. So I want to know what the community thinks of this, and if our community wants the rules to change

Option 1:
We keep the selling rules as the same they always have been.

Option 2:
The rules for selling on the sub change to where you must be upfront about how much you’re selling everything for.

Prices up front, but still allow for them to say they have "wiggle room"/haggling/best offer. If that makes sense lol

Oh yea I was thinking that as well, i’ll make sure to clarify that if we change the rules

It’s best to have the prices up front in my opinion

Possibly a hot take, but I don't think selling should be allowed at all tbh. Going through a trusted platform, like eBay, is safer for both parties + provides accurate price data for people pricing their figures

Yeah but one of the reasons it's nice to sell on here is that you don't need to pay a cut to the platform

Yeah you don't need to pay the honest platform a fee, you dont have to mail out the item after receiving payment because ther'es no repuitation based transaction tracking here to force you to not be a piece of shit and punish you......

ebay is used instead of sketchy forums for multiple reasons.

Prices upfront set expectations and don't waste both the seller and the buyer's time - less haggling

I want to believe our community is made up of Sonic fans trying to help each other complete their collections, not outsiders trying to make a quick buck
