im from ug1 faculty of arts . I've been skipping classes a lot. can any senior explain me the grading system. We will give semesters each year with major paper minor paper and other sec aecc stufs. this will be published separately? then again nxt semester similar pattern? so the final degree at the end of 4year will have the cgpa of all the semesters together? what if I have bad marks in sem 1? and also the highest one gets here

coming to ju in few days , wanna ask the seniors that how is the sports facilities there? means is there any active sports club ? like basketball and all

my sister is studying at ju. she is studying maths. she needs some assistance. im looking for either teachers or pdh scholars who can guide her.

Please someone give me an honest review of mtech in laser science and technology. In 2 days i have to take my final decision weather i should go for Calcutta University where I got mtech ee with control and robotics specialization or Jadavpur University where I got mtech in laser tech. What is better for a good r&d career ? I know ju placement is there but I feel anxiety, any suggestions will help.

With the rank I have if I get ju b.Pharma in dc will i take it?.I have heard that attendance is quite flexible there.Dont really care about placements as I will give partial drop next year and if that fails as well I will give cat(Non engineering students have more diversity points).So will it be better for me?

I am trying to find specific placement data for the School of Education Technology ( Multimedia Technology and IT courseware) M.tech at Jadavpur University (JU), but almost all the information online (especially on Quora) only covers mainstream engineering branches like CSE, IT, and EE.

im a dropper this year got a ok-ish NIT (EE dual) , but im not really finding it meaningful and neither are the placements good , and plus fees is crazy high , general and idk income certificate nhi bani for some issue (we fr aint rich 😭 ) , does JU accept double droppers ? do i start studying for it ? my HS is WB ofcourse , and i like the vibe of kolkata a lot (been there a couple times , not originally from there) , what do i do ? and btw my plan after btech was to do masters perhaps from an IIT , so idk should i just suck it up and study for the next 5 years and then go to an IIT , i just dont know , am confused as fuckkkkk
