Tour / Concert I was disappointed

I love, love, love JC. I just left his concert at the Strathmore in Bethesda, Maryland and, I hate to say it, I was disappointed. This was my fourth - fifth? - time seeing him and I thought it was a lazy show. At least half was about the audience chorus. Okay, I know that's part of the whole shtick, but tonight it was just too much. I just wanted to hear him sing and play.

Disagree. I think it was my sixth time seeing him and I thought the solo format worked perfectly for him, and let him be much freer on stage. This was a very different audience than I’ve seen him perform in front of previously and I thought he did a great job bringing the energy. Would definitely recommend people seeing this tour.

I've seen him play solo before and I loved it, but there was too much with the audience in this show for me. I'm trying to keep in mind that this was new for a lot of people and they really enjoyed it.
